And then, in the UK, we got the infamous Sonic the comic. I feel the comic started out good...but...well, later on it felt like they put so much different things, styles, and all into it that at time it didn't properly feel like a sonic comic to me. Heck, many of the characters that did not originate from the Sonic games or other sonic series didn't even feel like Sonic characters with how different they looked. There were also certain things that were...much different in comparison to the games, such as Super sonic, but at the time, there wasn't much info to follow, so I can understand why some things were they way they were...but when the comic began to adapt Sonic adventure however....thats a different story. Overall, I will say that for me, this comic was very forgettable, but thats just me.

Sonic...I don't mind how he looked in the series...but I felt that he was a bit...too much of a jerk at times. Its true that Sonic can act like a prick at times, but I felt the way this comic did it was too much with how he called Tails "Pixel-brain" as well as other things. I don't exactly hate him....but he is certainly not my favorite incarnation of Sonic.

Dr Robotnik...well, he does follow the origin that was shown in the 1991 promotional comic for Sonic 1, and he had a menacing personality...but personally, I preferred it when he had his first design instead of the "DIC" Design they gave him later, but thats just me. Not my favorite Robotnik but not the worts.
