Description
Giess again... sitting alone and reflecting on his life. This is a focus on Giess's body scars. His body is cursed to keep the appearance of his first death. The wounds on his body won't bleed, but won't heal either. The wounds are to cripple his life to make him an outcast. His is missing part of his throat, his right hand, and has a hole in his stomach. Without proper bandaging his insides would literally pour out.

The wounds do hurt making every waking moment really fucking suck. Which is one of the many reasons he is an alcoholic. After so many years, he is used to living with the pain.

That's what he wants, but one hundred lives is quite a number. He quickly grows tired of suicides and then awkwardly stumbles through life, wandering and throwing himself in different situations. Eventually, he becomes one of the Seven Noblemen of Dimoneus and helps lead the Daelot Empire. Please don't feel like I just spoiled the story for you; when Giess is first introduced, he is already a Nobleman.

i feel sory for him... what will happen once he dies for the last time? will it be like with others from crowns of creation or will he simply vanish because of the many lives he had before?... and no if that's the case you didn't spoil the story at all
it's always cool to get some backstory infos on characters

Every time Giess dies he stays in limbo and is denied passage to either Heaven or Hell. He remains a ghost in Thuul until the next sunrise, then where ever his body lies he will be reincarnated and live to die again. I did say that in the world of Thuul 'a soul can only live once.' However, this isn't entirely true considering that life isn't simple and there are some variables. Typically, once someone dies, they make their 'final pilgrimage;' a journey to one of the Great Gods' kingdoms. The journey is enduring and wears down the soul making it near impossible for a soul to make that same journey again. That is what I mean by 'a soul can only live on life.' But not all souls make the final pilgrimage, some are not at rest and become ghosts or may even be reincarnated. Since Giess has been unable to make his final pilgrimage because of his curse, his soul has not yet endured the final pilgrimage and he won't fade from existence like Zulos would.
Damn... sometimes I think I put too much detail in Crown of Creation. All the races, history, religion, deities... there is quite a lot of information... and I don't write a damn thing down... Any how, I will always be willing to share more story on any of my characters.

I'm happy to see you enjoy these stories. Personally, I can't help but wonder if some would argue that all this information over complicates an already lengthy story. Regardless, I enjoy knowing the stories are rather solid and I am trying my best to fill in all the holes.

sure i do!
you know what if someone makes a story without especially these details it will not end up good. Not all the details have to be in the story itself but every story needs a framework to be build on -and background info is always a good thing.

A background, history, origins, all the foundations of a story and in turn builds a character or characters. It is good to have those necessary details. Thanks.
