I would LOVE a slot to the second one! We'll leave it in the air for now because you can't technically get slots to unregistered Quaggas, but once her ref is up if its all systems are go then ok

Unfortunately I have to say no I would LOVE the slot, she is so gorgeous, but I just learned yesterday when trying to breed him (something they did not make clear in the rules) that ALL weggies have to be Excellent Blood before they can breed...so the slot would be useless until there's art of her It's just coincidence that Estel made it up to Excellent Blood right before the breeding, I wasn't paying attention at all but that mare wasn't excellent blood either and frankly I don't see her owner drawing her that much in the near future. So can you let me know when this girl is excellent blood? You can keep your slot to Estel and I would still love a slot to her, just wait until I can use it XD

Really? I've never heard this rule before. I've seen lots of Weggies breed at Standard Blood or other lower statuses than Excellent Blood. My stallion bred before he reached Excellent Blood, and none of the admins seemed to have a problem. I've even seen admins themselves involved in breedings with their horses or other's that are lower than Excellent. I know Excellent Blood is when they are able to get 10 more extra slots, and it's also one of the statuses that can pass Blood Value on to their foals, but I haven't heard any rules against breeding them before they reach Excellent Blood.

I know, I'll be honest it really ticked me off, mostly because I was so disappointed and it wasn't my fault...it's not under breeding rules AT ALL (at least it wasn't) I mean seriously how can you call it a rule when its under the POINTS SYSTEM instead of the rules explain that logic to me what the freaking heck!?

*rant over* *le sigh* I got my angers out XDD I know the work hard, they really do, and it such a beautiful breed, I want to be active in it and I want to start seeing more generation Weggies, and I totally get that they want horses to be active before they're bred, that part makes sense...

Unfortunately all instances of Weggies being bred before Excellent Blood don't count

When they said that to me, I linked them this information from the BREEDING RULES:
Each Norwegian Quagga only has 10 breeding slots.
Through the credit point system, 10 additional breeding's may be added if the horses reaches Excellent Blood.

This is that they linked me from the POINTS SYSTEM:
Please Note: The horse has to be Excellent, Royal or King/Queen Blood at the time of the breeding, not after. Also, the Value points for those bloodlines are transferable to foals. Even when one or both parents are not those Blood Value types themselves. The points are not revers transferable. A foal cannot give it's Dam or Sire points.


...I am considering selling him and leaving the group. They have rules that openly contradict this, it says nothing of this under group rules and that's where rules belong...this is one of my absolutely favorite breeds too but this is just unfair to lay rules on us that aren't even listed as rules

That really doesn't make sense. :c What I got out of the rules when I read them was that each Weggie has 10 breeding slots they can use, and when they reach Excellent Blood then 10 more could be added. Breeding is a pretty quick way of getting their Blood Value up easily, considering a fullbody breeding picture alone is 13 points, not to mention any payments that might be drawn as well, but just with a breedpic and the foal your horse could easily go up about 20+ points in Blood Value. If you look at most of the top Weggies they are usually so high because of breedings. Two breedings could bring a horse up to Quality Blood all on its own, and just with a few fullbody pictures and/competitions the horse is Excellent or higher.

That is just referring to when a foal is born, if one or both of it's parents is Excellent, Royal, or King/Queen Blood then they will get a certain amount of Blood Value for having those bloodlines. I really don't think there is anything against breeding horses under Excellent Blood status, as long as you aren't giving away the extra slots acquired when your horse reaches it.

So I messaged the group to clear everything up, and they told me there is no limitation on the Blood Status you can breed Weggies at. You can breed before they reach Excellent Blood, just as long as you don't use their Excellent Blood slots.

Yeah I sent this super long message to them haha Black Bee got back to me, but she usually checks with Cat for everything so I trust her judgement. I think there was just a bit of confusion somewhere before when they got back to you? If you still want to trade slots I would be happy to do so, if not we could always wait until she is Excellent Blood.

All is cleared up Though...I just found out that he can't be bred to other Fa's (I thought I read something like that but I couldn't find it so I just gave it a go) So if you don't mind, I will use a different stallion And any mare is fine, I'm not that picky, and for payment I just need the breeding pic And headshot is fine for the breeding pic but if you want to do full body then I can do full body

Wait, fades can't breed together? Are you sure? I was re-reading the Mutation Sheets again and I thought it was only FA's that weren't allowed because that would make the foal 100% fade, and there for not registerable as a Norwegian Quagga. Because if I am reading the sheet correctly, since both Estel and Dracarys are Fa they would make an FA foal with 90% fade. I am probably wrong though haha.


If you would like to use another stallion that's fine with me! Let me know who you choose. I'm torn between a few mares, but I'll make up my mind soon and let you know the lucky lady. As for payment, whether it's headshot or fullbody all depends on how lazy I am really haha, I actually have a few breedings booked so it might just be a headshot, but if you were to finish first with a fullbody then I would be happy to make a fullybody instead.
