I BLAME EmeraldTheWolf FOR THISWell, believe it or not, even though I have dressed Odyssey like a pirate and gave him the nickname Captain Jack, buuuuut the origins of his design are Tolkien's maps of Middle Earth. Originally his design was going to BE a map of Middle Earth but that one was rejected so the treasure map he sports on his coat came to be!
Well, then SOMEBODYYYYYY had to make this reference and my God, I just HAD to draw this scene!!! AND I MADE A SPEEDPAINT OF IT WITH MY NEW PROGRAM.
Sorry my lovelies, but the thing glitched out and at the very end I couldn't close the darn speedpaint program so LOL there's a few minutes of me checking my messages and trying to close the recording program XD But other than that I really like the speedpaint video!

Yeah, and there's at least four horses (two from MLP, a Starlite, and one other one) that are almost direct copies of their inspiration, but mine was rejected for copyright ;u; But I am so glad I kept the Tolkien-feel

Copyright issues D: I guess that's something new because there's a Princess Luna, A Princess Celestia, Starlite, and one other horse that's from a TV show that are almost direct copies of their inspiration. But yeah, I'm glad I was able to keep the Tolkien-feel though 'cause those maps are so gorgeous and I am such an LOTR and the Hobbit lover

Oh wow, really? -__- must be a new thing. Jeez what's the point of having horses that take inspiration from things like that for their coats instead of "normal" horse coats if you're just going to reject everything cause of copyright? Pfft T__T
Yeah, besides any other Tolkienite will clearly know what it was inspired of since the symbols are exactly the same so their whole "copyright issues" excuse has technically failed anyway XD
