Description So I worked on this for awhile, I tried to 'human', and damn was the reference I had good but dangit I hate, hate, HATE how everything else turned out - the outfit, the hair, the expression. Ugh. I had 'big' plans for this drawing, like making it my Akila handler Eden's reference, but I couldn't. Not with the hair and outfit and everything else. So here it is mostly for the GP of Polaris.

It is wonderful! thank you ever so much for sharing!

p.s
I think it is really good for someone who does not draw humans often, try not to beat yourself up you did a wonderful job ^_^ give yourself a pat and some words of advice if you don't like it and think you can do better, then nothing is stopping you from trying.

Your human actually looks pretty good. Not as good as Polaris, but the only really 'stand out' thing I can see that needs work is the placement of Eden's facial features and slight lack of detail on the hands/feet.

If you were to cut out her eyes, nose and mouth to move down a bit, that would help. The ear and eyebrow should be on a line with each other, and the mouth probably fits better down and slightly to the left, otherwise that's a lot of chin. There's a divot in the side of the face turned away from the viewer where the corner of an eye ought to be pointed, and with the tilt of the head the nose is misaligned as it should be in a line about where the earlobes are taking into account the curve of the features.

You've got great style, and can colour amazingly, so don't despair! For the most part you've got human anatomy nicely done for claiming difficulty with them.

After reviewing the image one last time, I probably am the worst at shading but I did notice there's not a lot of indication of shape with the shadow along the right side where her left breast meets the arm. The curve is in the lineart, it just needs a slight shading on the underside? Or less shadow on top? Dunno, bad with shadows, it just seems like maybe that could help.

It's a lot to remember, and it's embarrassing to say it's easier to see what needs work on someone else's art than my own. Glad I could help out, though.
