I KNOW! Riding horses is tons of work! D: (fun work, but still, you don't just sit there and let the horse do all the work!)

For years, but I have a severe anxiety disorder that didn't help me stay in the saddle, not including the fact the horse we've had for years was untrained, spooky, and unpredictable. Now we're getting a new horse with a lot of go-get-'em and a great heart and she's much better trained and it appears nearly bomb-proofed other than a little head-shy.

Haha - you know Ellie? I knew here and her owner/s before they moved to TX. That horse has HEART!! She doesn't have the more refined style, but damn can she jump!

LOL I wish I knew her, I just watched her and LOVED every bit of it! Who cares for refined style when a horse has that much personality? To me not only was she the best jumper (well she did win

She def. has personality - I knew her when she was just getting started, kinda jumping from hunters and jumpers before they found her calling. It's entertaining, she's like a dog. You know how when you train a dog, and they know they've done good they give you this expectant look, like "where's my treat, I know I get one!"? Ellie is the only horse I know that does that exact same thing. When she comes out of the ring, she goes straight to her part owner (not megan whose riding her in the stamp) and begs, literally begs like a dog for her licorice! She LOVES black licorice!
Plus it doesn't help that she's a freaking beautiful horse!
And I'm sure she wouldn't mind!
