Ok, so the one and ONLY other time I ever drew something steampunk was drawing EmeraldTheWolf 's joker Cogs, steampunk is TOTALLY new to me and...I discovered I HATE drawing gears ;u; That didn't leave me many options since gears are like everything in steampunk but hey I tried my best. Not sure this is going to win or anything, but the important thing is I actually really enjoyed the challenge of making it

Not everything in the genre is gears, but I think you did a fair job of conveying the theme with this. The colours and materials appear to fit in perfectly.
Some suggestions for the future would be things like leather and brass accouterments [gloves, pouches, belts, straps, etc], antique keys [typewriter or skeleton], copper plates/wires, lightbulbs/lanterns, steam vents, respirator masks, unique firearms, airships, watches, rocket packs, 'contraptions' of all sorts... It's really a very fascinating genre to get involved with.

No problem dear, I don't use it a lot in my own work because I tend not to add those kinds of details but I am a big fan of the style and have been for a decade or more.
