Yeee! This pairing is completely canon, I swear! When I read the books many many years ago at age ten, I always got the impression they were into each other. For a ten-year-old to pick up on that, you know there's something there!

We totally agree. XD Even people who aren't into slash and saw this movie thought this movie was pretty gay. But yeah, they're totally closer to eachother than anyone else even in the stories.
