EnglishBased on old mexican movie posters.
No photos, 100% Photoshop.
The characters portrayed and the names used herein are fictitious and any resemblance to the names, characters, or history of any person is coincidental and unintentional.
UPDATE: said that the characters on the background (copies of the human spider but in white costumes), didn't look good. Since I didn't want to draw more characters I decided to do the "ghosts" as empty costumes. I think it looks better this way.

Los personajes y los nombres usados son ficticios y cualquier semejanza con nombres, personajes o historia de cualquier persona es pura coincidencia.
ACTUALIZACION: Dijo que los personajes de fondo (copias de la araña humana pero con trajes blancos) no quedaban bien. Ya que yo no quería dibujar más personajes decidí hacer los "fantasmas" como trajes vacíos. Creo que quedó mejor.

Excellent work
It has a lot of the 'old' feeling as if it's something that you would turn up in the basement of an old movie theater or bingo hall.
The theme on this poster reminds me of a movie I saw not to long ago on IFC (Independent Film Channel) called "Enter...Zombie King" in that you're taking something real (wrestlers) and pitting them against something that mostly has a grounding in imagination (ghosts).

Thank you. The idea to put ghost as opposite to the hero is not very original, these old mexican wrestler movies usually used the classic movie monsters (the mummy, frankenstein, dracula) as adversaries. I didn't see any of these movies but I think it must be very funny to see dracula struggling with a masked wrestler...

there's not much to understand, it's mainly just fake names... the only text copy reads "from the mansion of horror the bloodthirst beings that you fear and hate the most escape..." or something like that

Na! la repeticion del mismo caracter en gris para hacer "los fantasmas" me parece adecuada, ya que esa forma poco pensada, composiciones algo absurdas y cargadas, son tipicas en los carteles de cine mexicano de esa epoca. bueno esa es mi opinion...

hay,hay, hay, no era necesario clonar a los monos de atrás,lo hubiese dejado con el principal solo y listo, de ultima generabas la atmósfera de misterio de quienes son los Fantasmas, pero esta genial y por eso va para los fav.
