Note: I use Adobe Photoshop CS, if you're using an older version some things may be different.

This is a great tutorial!!!
It's simple and easy in its execution and the result is amazing, with a very pronounced effect!
I loved the result and you can also play with color/fuzziness/dodge and burn to create different feelings!

thankx for the tutorial, it helped me get past the problem i had with doing my manipulation, i didnt think of going this direction and im glad i did because it turned out better and made it easier. thanx. here is what i did.

Just wanted to say that this is an awesome tutorial. I make images for a roleplaying site that I frequent, and often need glowing eyes. I've also used your technique a bit differently and made colored glowing eyes instead of just white.. they turned out great.. I'll have to upload some soon to show what i've done. i'll send you a note when i do. i'm still working on something good enough to upload to start my gallery, so its totally empty at the moment.. again.. this is a great tutorial. thanks
