Description
This is a mask custom-made for a live-action boffer World of Darkness LARP, Mortal Tears [link] To represent a shift to Crinos form, one puts on a mask such as this.Unlike my papier mache masks, this one had a few challenges regarding its use that forced me to redesign and use completely different base materials. The mask needed to be scrunchable, to take abuse like being slung on a belt and fallen on in combat, yet bounce back and retain its shape without much fuss.
Plastic cross-stitch mesh base, cut and shaped and "sewn" to contour. Hot glue for smaller joints, attaching fur and teeth. SuperSculpey teeth and nose, painted and finished. Painted felt inner mouth to match Sculpey. Fabric marker to vary and blend coat coloration; 3 different types of faux fur.
The finished mask can be scrunched quite nicely, with the only "hard" points being the teeth and nose. Also much more sweat/wear resistant than a sealed mache mask.

How much did it cost?
I'm interested in getting something similar to that.

This looks like a good mask. It certainly is better than many that I've seen so far. I'm looking into a mask that is almost like an extension of one's face. Do you think it is possible?

No, I don't have any tutorials as of yet. I do have to rebuild one of my masks eventually. Perhaps I'll document
