Meanwhile, Caelius attempts to keep the queen busy by doing the demo...Apologies for taking so long to get this next one up. In case you had not already heard, progress on nearly all of my art projects got held up temporarily due to the laptop I work on all my major art projects on went under the weather and eventually had to have it's OS rebuilt. But it's back up and running now, so I was finally able to get this comic finished.
You may note that the dialogue is smaller than it has been in previous strips. This is because it was getting harder and harder to get all of it to fit into any given panel with the pointsizes I was using before, and since I knew this one was going to feature some lengthy technobabble, I decided to use a much smaller pointsize for the text. It will probably be the new rough standard for comics going forward.
The ninth comic is already drawn and inked, so it shouldn't be too long before it gets finished and posted as well.

Exactly what my thinking was when I did it.
But next time I might still make the text just a LITTLE bit bigger...here it's a little too small for even me.
