My submission for and their theme for this week, A Pony in the Future!

Except I guess I did a dragon in the future, didn't I?

Well, there are ponies IN the pic, too, so...

Anyway, this is actually part of a larger idea I had, which portrayed the whole MLP cast a number of years into the future and what they were all doing then, but on top of school and everything, I didn't have time to do everyone, so I settled for Spike, and portrayed where he might be at this vague point in the future. He's a royal guard, because I could see him wanting to do that (assuming there was enough action to keep his interest), and I figured that even as close as he and Twilight are, I figured he'd eventually want to go out and do his own thing (but of course stay close to Twilight at the same time) so there you go.

Although admittedly I may have gotten some inspiration from 's work...hmm.

Anyway, there you go. A new pic for your viewing pleasure.
