Description I've probably been messing with this for several months on and off. It's difficult nailing down anatomy on a creature that goes from bipedal to quadrupedal and has an iconic face that you've been familiar with for about a decade. Honestly I've been readjusting this monster form for several years, think I've just about settled with this. Added Ebony in for scale.

Again, it's not lycanthropy but punishment for abusing the use of dark magic. The mark glows when this curse affects him. In this state, Razor is susceptible to his mentor's orders due to how close he is to them and eventually Ebony would be able to take over and even manipulate the curse's effects once she's developed a better connection to him.

I've got some other sketches I've been doodling, however I may not be uploading it for a while since I want to add more.

Something I should've asked somebody a long time ago: How do you draw snarls? Like, how not only the lips curls upwards, but the entire snout/muzzle scrunches up? That's something I can never get right, with or without internet tutorials.Β  Idk if I just need more practice because even when I was practicing, that seemed to be the one thing I was never getting better at.

Most mammals are designed along a seam right down the middle, which comes from the cells multiplying as embryos. I try to understand the snout or face the same way; a line that runs down the middle of the face. The larger muscles for lips and brows, I'll pull up towards this seam, but smaller muscles around noses tend to pull right above this line like they sit on it rather than split. With humans, the brows and upper part of the nose knit together as a focal point for facial muscle contraction. On canines the wrinkles scrunch behind the nose, but the skin also creates irregular creases along the middle from the lips pulling up. I simply guess those lines.

It's important to look at the muscular anatomy to know where the muscle groups are, that way you can have a better guess at how the tissue will behave.Β

I wrote a reply, but I left Chrome before submitting.
But in any case, thank you very, very much!! Like I said, it was pretty annoying not knowing this. I screenshotted your reply for future reference.

You're pretty in and out with Razor and Ebony. These two are such a fascinating pair of characters, and I've loved them since your SRMT days. I really, seriously hope there will be more of them in the future~

Yeah, I only draw them when I'm in the mood really. I'm just not sure if these versions I've created are still strong enough to interest new people, probably the furry community is the best bet.

I do still intend to draw them from time to time because it's fun.

Maaaan how I'd wish you'd continue this, I remember loving it a whole lot before the website went down. Still refreshing to see anything Razor related anyhowΒ  <3

Sometimes I wish I could as well, but I probably needed help with it.

I've been wanting to draw a few scenes from the script, so maybe one day there will be tidbits.
