One of the many concept suggestions for my character design exercise. He's so adorable.

I was working on various ways to portray this character and found a great style for him. It's fun to spot strange shapes in bodies and connect lines as if it they are one closed path with no end. More concepts to come. Process work is on my Tumblr: [link]

The one with sticks is the Japanese drum called, Taiko. Drew it for my roommate's enjoyment.
