Description
Description:"Ebony, a young and strong-willed Monsaru warrior has just completed her fifteen-year training at the national institution of Sarutia. Before she can claim her title in the elite military class she must travel on a journey of self-discovery and learn how to hone into her spiritual magic and her link to the deity, Sypherus. However, on the way she crosses paths with a mysterious character whose origins are from a tribe that had disappeared nearly three hundred years ago. Through some curious connection he begins to follow her in shadow, simultaneously fulfilling the deeds of a powerful Nekorian lord from the land of Aneko, a race in which the Monsarutians are currently at war with. In this world, the transfer of energy through the use of magic and electromagnetism keeps the planet of Sypher alive and the balance between positive and negative forces is crucial to the survival of the inhabitants and their deity. The cycle has become disrupted and darkness grows in the hearts of the people, their wickedness staining the purity of their god. Without the power of the lost tribe the planet is doomed to collapse, but could this mysterious stalker and his affiliation with Ebony hold the power to prevent the looming destruction?"

This summary may change, so if you're confused I can enlighten you.
HA! It's coming folks, I've released my cover page for book one of my graphic novel Shadow's Mark. All that is left for me to do is get the website in a reasonable state (even if I don't like it) and get it up and running.
I can't say I'm entirely pleased with how this came out, I even drew it on paper first so I could perfect the anatomy but the characters are standing funny. Razor isn't that big in the novel, he's leaner and athletic but I was looking at a thicker body type when identifying the muscles. Unfortunately, this anatomy is better than what you'll see in the actual comic, but hey you're not paying for it so no worries, it's my headache. Another thing is that I designed everything in blue when the shadow actually glows purple and red. The blue just looked so much prettier... D; it's my addictive color.
I must say I feel kinda weird revealing my story finally after two years in the making. Such a shame I only have one chapter completed, I'm afraid it doesn't explain enough to get people into the characters. I tried making it as professional as I possibly could, so I went the extra mile to purchase books and fonts for it. The title font I designed in Illustrator.
Understand that the process of making this project has been a lot of hard work for both myself and my friends, so much credit to them for their generous amount of help.
I have been prowling about people's deviations checking for similarities to my version of anthro monkeys trying to create a recognizable difference, an obvious one being the eyes. Those white pupil bug-eyes had to go. Also to note, ALL metallic parts come off. These aren't robot monkeys in the slightest, please do not mistake them for it because my primates are called Monsarutians. I only kept the primate species because that's what Razor and Ebony are, I didn't want to turn them into anthro dogs or wolves... everyone does that.
Will I keep drawing Robot Monkey Raz and Ebs?
Maybe. I still love their original designs and may doodle them from time to time, but I'm probably going to switch over. I've been sitting on the srmthfg throne for a long time. XD Peter Pan needs to grow up now. If you're seriously going to stop enjoying Razor and Ebony because they aren't robot monkeys anymore I'm sorry you'll miss out on such a far better story than I ever wrote for their fandom. I still appreciate all the love they've gotten from you guys.
Can I try to draw their new designs/ How to Credit?
I have no problems with fanart just as long as under the deviation it says my name somewhere in the description. You spend two years on constant character redesign, storyboarding, and whatnot and see why I'm going to throw about my copyright. I'll calm down again once my project is underway and new people can find the originals without mistaking frauds.
Razor and Ebony's personalities have been slightly altered for the better. G-2 Ebony will kick your ass, she's a hard-core soldier. G-2 Razor is the same but he's not so "broken" as before where he seems practically invincible. Invincible characters are not cool at all. XD Over all they have more human problems and ambitions, which I think is easier for people to connect with.
Hope you enjoy!
