Omg. I actually managed something close to what I've always wanted to attempt. I have always wanted to digitally paint my art and hell it looks pretty damn good. I drew it on paper first, then took it into flash and traced it. I then had to convert it into an .eps so it would open in illustrator, after that I could open it up in photoshop.

This is my art for our calendar project in Digital Design, well Sinclair actually. I have the month October.... so that is why the art is "scary" according to mom.
Obviously I drew the reaper and rotten wolf first, but the background and weird tombstones were drawn without a reference. I hope they look okay, they seem fine for a n00b to me.

I used the smudge tool lots. And burn + dodge tool. Shading, lighting... just playing around. I colored this pretty fast actually. oO I started the reaper yesterday around an hour after lunch, then of course had space for other things, then started back up at 5 or 6, and drew till 4:00am. (shh...mom doesn't need to know this.) I drew part of the wolf this morning, then after getting home at 8:30 I drew till 4:00am again. (It's 4:35 right now) Oh sh*t Oo; I'm going to be in trouble.

I didn't know how to paint wolf fur, so I guessed and it it my way. At least the skull can be considered a wolf. I haven't practiced drawing skeletons or wolves very much, and so this is what I came up with after maybe over a year of not drawing them.

The scythe is completely badass...I love it. The color of the blade and the blades themselves. *Loves sharp things*
