Who knows, I could see Shima liking the flavor if she didn't know what it was. I'm sure many of her herbs taste worse.

lol, well, mostly 2 things, first, I try to make sure to go dark enough in the shading, with more contrast, everything looks more defined
The other being that I work really really really really zoomed in.

I like what you have going so far though and I, honest to god, completely forgot about Saiya. (She's the second one that stands out because she's nearly full color) Looks funny without her head she does. xD
OH! And I should finish up the lines for your Jerboa, but I'm thinking do a redraw of it so I don't hate my lines enough to destroy my muses. X3 Maybe give him less clothes too? This IS a sonic-ku character, lol.
