Description Wasn't planning on a three-way combo until multiple people asked, and then I started really pondering a design.

I wanted this to evenly mix the feel of Muk, Weezing and Garbodor while really looking like a new and different creature.

Maybe we can fuse all 3 of them, and make a Poison Steel type, Let's call it Dumparbor (Combination of Dump, and Harbor)

I know this is off track and mostly unrelated but that thing looks like an anti-zombie apocalypse. I mean they can't kill it, assuming it keeps muks viscosity. If they tried (i.e. physicaly trying to devour it) they'd probably be dissolved/ingested in a cruel ironic twist and when you add those teeth you've officialy discovered the only pokemon more inclined to overkill than a certain green dragon/dino that can crush mountains yet also summons vicious sandstorms with its mere existance. Not sure how the gas would work out other than A) keeping the zombies food (i.e. us...duh) away for several miles and B) adding inslt to injury by smelling to them what they smell to us. Yeah I know zombies should't have functioning noses, THAT'S HOW POWERFUL I ASSUME THE STENCH IS.

Maybe the end boss, to be captured or KO'd, at the end of a forsaken industrial complex, so abandoned due to the abundance of poison-types. If it were just a standalone that had similar themes to Muk, Weezing, and Garbodor, or even as a fusion, I'm tempted to think of it as a sort of man-made Legendary, a god of scum and filth, spawned from the industrial revolution of the Pokemon World, before they converted most everything to wind and solar power.

That WOULD definetly work. We need a poison-type legendary.

BESTEST FAKEMON EVER

I like how the Garbodor-Muk-Koffingness is noticeable, but so subtle that this could actually stand alone as a completely unrelated Pokemon.

Bravo, my friend!
You know, I don't think I've actually talked to you yet. I've been stalking you for a while and I read through all of your comic archives, as well as some of your monster and animal articles. Oh, and I watched the "Gooper Ghost" thing.

Yes. Yes I did. I'm just such a big fan of you and your "drawlings"! You just have impeccable delivery in most of your comics, and if that's not the case then the insane style makes up for it. Or it just degenerates in a random strange way... i.e. 'Ride my beard 2 safty'.

It looks like a sort of toxicosaurus rex. I imagine it to be gigantic, with the head of a grown human only reaching the spot where the circle and the line intersect on its belly. Also its gender would be neutral like Ditto, only it would work in reverse. Any pokemon bred with it would result randomly in either one of the 3 components or the pokemon itself.

scythemantis In reply to Daimera [2012-08-17 10:33:22 +0000 UTC]

Apparently poison is considered a decent type defensively these days, what with only ground and psychic weaknesses, and not too many people wield psychic attacks with so many bug, steel and poison pokes on everybody's teams. In fact, I think Psychic is now considered one of the worst types, which is a shame because it has so many that I love now too XD

Daimera In reply to scythemantis [2012-08-17 11:37:50 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it's good for walls and stuff, it's just a pity that only Grass is weak to Poison ever, and as a secondary status effect tacked on to actual damage-dealing attacks it is usually unreliable; might as well just use Toxic, and you don't have to be Poison to use that to optimal effect. Still, Drapion is pretty much a permanent installment in my teams when I'm actually taking team-building seriously.

There are psychics that I like, but I take it as a form of comeuppance because of how badly the type was abused in Gen1 (I only got back in at the very end of Gen 3, so my last memories of Pokemon leading up to that were giant fucking walls of Mewtwos and Alakazams if I ever tried to challenge anyone, though I did make a nuisance of myself by eventually seriously training up a Jinx with LICK). The main issue for Poison types now is Ground, since anything that can use Earthquake tends to have it. >:I
