tumblr: [link]i think i've mentioned this before or most of you guys just always knew this but most of the characters in D.O.R. are based on real people. SD is based on me but there are some big differences in personality. one being that i'm way more chill than her and that she has more confidence.
when SD talks about her life it will usually always be based off my life, but highly exaggerated. for example this fear of fire thing. i actually did have a fear of fire where i even shook a bit if i got too close. but i outgrew that when i was around 4th or 5th grade. now i don't really have a problem with it.
as we go along with D.O.R. i will tell you guys the things that are true or exaggerated.
in other news i tried to color this update in SAI, i think i might stick to photoshop when it comes to comics. not only does photoshop have tools that i need but i'm also faster in photoshop. but i will probably use SAI for bigger more detailed panels. also for single pics. SAI's brushes are just so nice.

for the whole comic? it was a dream. i remembered going into a lab with some friends and seeing those big windows with the Pokemon in their own environment. and after, some stuff happened that i haven't got to yet in the story.

As someone who almost was a chemist, i understand having a fearful Respect of fire, even if it is as you have said, exaggerated.
Shading, expressions, coloring and paneling are top notch, Congrats for keeping up and improving the quality.
