If I may chime in for a second -- and I don't mean to be a wet blanket on this matter but you DID say:
"This isn't a request, it's just an offer and suggestion. It's my way of saying thank you for all your support on my Mask stories."
Now if you have to ask, doesn't that defeat the purpose of the journal? Wouldn't it just be better NOT to have the journal (or at least rewrite it and take out the modest sounding parts) and just be direct in asking people to make the pictures instead?
It's going to send mixed messages when you say "Feel free to show your appreciation and do these at your own leisure" one moment to saying "Are you working on anything from my list of offers/suggestions?" the next.
It's like I said in the chat, if you want something done just be direct and go for it -- and play by the rules.

Though I assume you meant to word it like showing the view from behind as it's wrapping around the head like in the Jim Carrey movie.
Personally, I thought the end result was what counts rather than the means of showing the transformation. That's just me though.
Doesn't hurt to shake things up I suppose.
