This is a Concept sheet featuring the following character in the description below:

Mark Jedadiah Walker (otherwise known as Cowboy)
-Age: 17
-Height: 6’2’’
-Weight: 210
-Gender: Male
-Weapons (and their roles)
M16A1 (used more as a melee weapon due to its sound)
SiG 9mm (keeps one bullet away from others in case he gets trapped)
Kabar Fighting Knife (used more as a utility tool than a weapon)

Personality: Mark is, despite the way he’s built, a gentle giant. He tends to always want to help other who can’t defend themselves (part of being brought up by his Vietnam Vet grandpa). But when he meets other survivors, he tends to avoid trusting them off the bat (unless the situation calls for it). But once he sees someone isn’t a threat, he eases up and becomes friendly. He’s also very chivalrous, always striving to do what’s right morally. He’s also a military buff (particularly about naval aviation, again coming from his grandpa’s experiences as a Navy Fighter Pilot). He also always thinks more of others’ safety then his own.
Despite his strengths, he also has things that make him far from perfect. He can be very stubborn about what he feels is right, and frowns upon when people choose what’s convenient over what’s right morally. He also doesn’t like when due respect to others isn’t given. He can also kinda be too gung-ho and being betrayed is something that really sets him off (and may make him careless).

History: Mark’s father left his mother when she got pregnant at 19, so Mark was raised by his grandparents and mother. This event causes a deep hatred towards the man by Mark, and he even says he might kill the man should he ever come back. After spending most of his life in Virginia, working on his grandparents’ farm as well as hunting and fishing, he decided to accept an exchange program to Fujimi. He’d still been adjusting to life in the city (and another country) when they came along. He scavenged what weapons he could and now is hoping to find Miss Shizuka and assure she gets to safety. In the meantime he kinda rambles about, helping where he can and hoping to get info on the whereabouts of Fujimi’s nurse.

Likes: hunting, fishing, hard rock, venison, doing what’s morally right
Dislikes: Imamaru, doing what’s convenient, being betrayed

Strengths: outdoorsmen skills, some understanding of military tactics, physical build, trained in firearms, chivalry
Weaknesses: stubbornness, physical strength won’t mean a thing if he gets bitten, weapons he has are loud, he also kinda has a soft spot for girls he thinks are pretty so that can make him open to manipulation by them, small case of claustraphobia

-He has a crush on Miss Shizuka (who gave him his nickname and has patched him up a few times after fights with Imamaru)
-Butted heads a lot with Imamaru (even got a cigarette burn from the delinquent)
