My April Story Oliva came in today! (Well... saturday) And dannnng - she's go some boobs! Gotta make some new things for her I guess...ÂBefore you wonder, no, I have no character for her at all. She was just really cheap and someone was kind enough to link the site to me not too long ago! I'm thinking about getting a boy body... HRM.Â
I will be restringing her... April Story has strung her so oddly... @_@?

Oh no I do! I think it's super pretty - it just can't pose for shit. Her legs are pretty much useless... they are like a Supia body to the extreme with no support... haha.

Ah wow! Look like the female body poses so much better than the male one.
I bought the male body as it was super cheap and there's something wrong with his inner thigh joint :/
He just can't sit no matter how you try to click his legs into place.

Ahhhhh NO. You're correct in that... they all are difficult to pose I guess. Her legs... just... omfg. Jeeeeze. The hot glue sueding I just did helped a LOT, but the heel legs are a nightmare to pose (so it'll be a challenge which I'm totally up for) but she can't stand on her own.. no way. Her legs are like SUPER ANIME bow-legged :/ so she's got like a foot wide gap in her crotch if you try to stand her legs straight - her knees bend inward and ... just no. LOL. but it'll be fun to experiment!

I'm a little relieved that they didn't give up all together on just the male body but lord almighty! That's just no good :/ As cheap as the Aprilstory body is Spiritdoll has an incredibly posing body for just 100 more so I was expecting a bit more quality out of their dolls.
Glad you're looking at it as a challenge, That's how I should shift my mindset. I'll certainly keep my eyes open if you put up the steps that you're taking to make her non anime bow legged and crotch gapped XD I'm going to sit down with some suede and maybe a bit of milliput and see if I can fix the lock in the back of my males legs.
p.s. Her head is absolutely adorable and I know you're going to do amazing things with her. Can't wait to see her all put together <3

As far as the ridiculous crotch gap and bow legs... I'm seriously thinking of modding the upper legs... they have the slit that usually allows the legs to move forward and back SIDEWAZE so they move IN only... (the bow legs) they can't even move straight forward! I dont... I don't even... UGH. Lol So it'll be a fun adventure for me. 
And thankkksss I really like her sculpt... debating on how much I like the teeth... but then again I didn't much care for lazule (Monty) until he came back with that faceup... faceups really do make a world of a difference.

As far as posing goes... the legs are a nightmare.. not even going to lie. I feel like she's going to be a challenge for me to get good 'natural' photos - but I like that sometimes, and with her I'm in love due to the lack of joints she has!
