Bit of a long overdue update of an old reference of Fiddif I made years ago. Things are still kinda accurate so it's mostly a visual one.

Name: Fiddif
Race: An entity of goo / goo creature
Length: 1.8 meters in his collared stable form.

-Description-
A lanky character made out of warm-to-the-touch blackish goo. He sports two pairs of large arms with large and a long prehensile tail. Brown fur covers portions of his legs and upper body. He got two large ears and bright orange eyes.

The goo has non-Newtonian characteristics with it being both a thick and sticky liquid but solid enough to let Fiddif can manipulate things around him, while also letting him squeeze through holes, bars, grates or other obstacles. Any object inside the goo itself can be easily manipulated by Fiddif himself.

Fiddif often sport a wide toothy grin. He rarely opens his mouth and when he does, a glowing and featureless void can be seen within.

Around his neck is an ornate golden collar with a large ruby on its lock.

-Personality-
Fiddif is a smiling beacon of childish energy and endless curiosity.
His motives in life is not clear to anyone as he merely wanders around in search for entertainment. Something to sate his curiosity.

He's social but has little to no respect for people's personal spaces, unless he's scolded for it. He likes to pick up decorations, rummage through someone's backpack and flip through someone's diary without hesitation but would respect anything he has pilfered, and return them once his curiosity is sated.

Fiddif is filled to the brim with mischievous tendencies as well, and is often struck by sudden fancies and act out of impulse to carry out these moments. Be it picking up someone and putting them on a nearby roof and having a silent laugh at it, or just doing other seemingly nonsense..

Thankfully, depsite everything, Fiddif's good-hearted and never want to hurt, injure or damage anything. He'll respect laws, although might stretch them a bit for a laugh.

-The Stabilizing Collar-
The origins of the Collar is unknown, yet it's function to Fiddif is crucial.

The Collar around his neck is a device that keep Fiddif's form stable. Without it, he's free to rapidly and shift his shape around to dramatically increase his size or increase the length of his limbs. Squeezing through objects via tiny cracks or holes becomes a possibility too.

The Collar can be opened and closed by will. He does feel a sense of great relief going uncollared.
The Collar floats around and follows Fiddif around when he's uncollared and cannot be forcefully displaced by anyone. The Collar cannot be closed (or stolen for that matter) by anyone as its bound to him. Anyone attempting to take it will experience that the Collar appear unaffected by their manipulation, like an unstoppable object. Cannot be damaged due to this.

Being uncollared let's Fiddif manipulate his body to great extremes but going too far in either direction will eventually cause him to collapse into a pile of sentient goo. He'll stabilize his body again by equipping the Collar.

-Character Traits-
Mute - Fiddif is mute due to missing both lungs and vocal chords. He'll resort to hard gestures, charades, facial expressions and frustrated sighing to make himself understood. Can also do simple sign-language.. not that anyone understands it.
Goo - Being made of goo means he has no internal organs to worry about. Things like sleeping and eating is unnecessary but can still be done. Damage to his form is more or less ignored, or restored fast.
Mischievous - Bordering on almost childish at times. He's never outright out to hurt anyone but instead looking to have a laugh. On a side note, he loves being rewarded and praised.. but he can also take great offense from being scolded or told to not do 'that' or 'this'. Can be rebellious as a negative response.
Great Understanding - Fiddif is both mute and incapable of writing, yet show a huge understanding of languages in both written and spoken form. He never has to "learn" a language, just understands it from the get-go.
"Storage" Capabilities - Anything that Fiddif can fit inside his mouth vanishes into the glowing void that's inside. He can choose what do with those things. A safe space to keep trinkets or mementos, or just straight off to consumption. Going uncollared and increasing in size let's Fiddif "eat" bigger things for safekeeping.
