From the ground to his shoulders he stands about 5 and half feet tall, from nose to tail tip he reaches 15 and a half feet long, and weighs about 1700 pounds. This form can grow only slightly bigger (can add one about 5 more inches to his height, and about 100 pounds of weight) through large amounts of adrenaline rushes. This is rare to happen and can leave him exhausted. He can lift around twice his weight.

Kitten Form: After a recent power change 13 has been able to change into a much smaller spikeless tiger looking cub. This form is a good way to escape from tight situations. This tiny form is about the size of a medium sized dog and weighs around 30 pounds.

Half Shift: Through practice and years of getting used to his shifting 13 has been able to learn to stop his shifting mid way through and stay half-shifted. This is a versatile way to use claws and teeth as weapons without exerting as much energy for a full shift as either a kitten or a large man eating tiger. Amber Shields has helped him a great deal to try to get him to prefect this new form. He is a few inches taller in this form (around 6’8”) than his human form, weighs around 250 pounds, and can lift around 500 pounds (about a hundred pounds more than he can lift as a human).

Scientists in labs used Project 13 to test the limitations of powers. As a result of their testing he has several mutations that were induced or manufactured. These include:
-Fast self-healing. He heals automatically and can't shut it off. Even if he is unconscious his body will automatically start healing.

Sub: Adaption (Subtle Self Genetic Mutation):
Before 13 lost his memory and became Project 13 his powers had been able to absorb other’s DNA so that he could mimic their features. This different type of shape shifting was overwhelmed (to the point where he lost the use of them) when he was forced to take on Amber’s feline shape shifting powers as a part of the projects program. 13 only knows about these powers after looking through his Project files in the lab so long ago.
These powers have slowly started to come back as a subtle self-manipulation of his own DNA. It is like a very slight adaption of his DNA and appearance over time. This power is mostly subconscious and he has no control over it. It is most visible through his changed hair color (which used to be blonde brown and is now a dark brown, and his previously silver eyes that are now brown-silver). His shifting form has grown over time as well, and his feline features have changed such as his spikes shifting to allow missing spots for passengers to ride, his fur growing thicker in winter and thinner in spring (or also if the overall climate is changing).

-Claustrophobic. He will get very uncomfortable and frustrated if he's in small spaces.

-Has sharp teeth, his canines and pre molars come to a sharp point. Unlike all his other features, his teeth do not return to normal human teeth when he is in human shift.

The only scar on his body is the row of scars on his back where the spines from his shifting come through his skin, as well as one all the way down the right side of his chest and abdomen under his arm where he had glass removed from his side in a surgery by Kat.

-Knows a lot about pressure points as taught by Amber. They were used to help him relax during shifting.

Weaknesses:
Electricity: The labs have fitted him with a weakness to electricity. It was used as a disciplinary tool in the labs. He can handle small doses of it, but if in contact with too much or for too long a time, he will loose consciousness and may shift back.

High metabolism: He must eat a lot of food and can burn what he has quite easily. If kept away from food and water too long he can become too weak to shift. He must eat and stay hydrated in order to use his powers.

Shifting: 13 was not born with the ability to shift into a feline form. Because of this it is hard on his body to shift. While he has gotten better and more used to this over time, if he stays shifted for too long, or exerts himself too much while shifting it can make it more difficult when he shifts back. If he has over exerted himself while shifting he can end up being quite weak after he shifts back.

History:

He as a project that went AWOL. He had left the Labs that had imprisoned him, he dug the chip out of his head, the one that they had used to help keep him under their control, and soon started his own journey away from the labs. He still had all the idiosyncrasies of his training driven into him. He needed food, shelter, and security. It was in the middle of a war still and he couldn’t survive like this out on the streets for long. He found this in the form of the R.A.., a small group of people who were for the superiority of the superhuman race. He had never though before how much better he was than humans, but it was obvious that he was. He soon developed a plan to take over, and did, successfully killing Collins. But the war proved very tough for him, and he didn’t have the world’s best leader-ly qualities, which ended up in most of them dying and the rest slowly dispersing and leaving him after the war. It was around this time that he was forced to go and stay in the reserve, where the DSR surprisingly left him alone. They had deemed his project a failure and knew it would be better if he stayed in the reserve where they could keep an eye on him.

It was around this time that he kept his pursuit for Amber. But he was finally able to get new recruits for the RA, slowly rebuilding his group. But he was still failing to show good leadership qualities. His shifting was getting worse; he would pass out after shifts in a bunker he made. Now 28, he still had that drive brainwashed into him to find her and kill her. But every time his anger and rashness kept him from completing this goal.

He began to realize that his pursuit of Amber was just apart of his previous brainwashing, and started to gather a hate of the extent of the DSR’s control on him. The two could see they were more alike than they realized, and that Amber would be able to help 13 with his shifting problems and teach him to overcome the lab’s control on him. It was from her that he learned how to control himself, and also how to use pressure points to relax, as well as catnip. Wasn’t until after the two of them were captured by the DSR and brought to a Lab in Seattle that things began to change for him. Milton, one of lead scientists that had been on the Projects program tested him and Amber, who 13 was slowly relying on to aid in their escape. The two were put through tasks to test how much of their training they still retained and even pitted them against each other. But instead the two shifters were able to escape after 13’s power changed allowed him to kitten shift and squeeze through the door they had dented in during the fight, and kill Milton and flee to Seattle.

The two escaped to the nearby city of Seattle and find shelter. 13’s love of freedom was rekindled as the two of them walked the streets that were so much livelier than those of the reserve. But he knew that he had to return to the Reserve because Amber wanted to be back with her boyfriend, and 13 still had the RA to run. It was around this time that he realized how horrible he was as a leader. He slowly started to try and become a stronger leader, and make his group into something stronger and better.

He became a lot less sadistic and crazy, but his new attitude tended to come across as grumpy and secluded. He needed his time to himself to revaluate and restructure himself so that he could break the brainwashing. And while he was successfully able to, he still tends to be reserved.

13 continues to work with the RA now that he’s started to actually care about making sure they are all trained and safe from the DSR. But before he can successfully begin to train them the RA is raided and the resident RA scientist, David Allegan’s nullify is taken. There are casualties on both sides.

It’s after this that 13 decides to name Lukas Smith as his second in command and begins to train him to help him lead the RA in preparation for their escape. This also leads up to 13 talking to Thane about a truce between the Alliances.

Personality:
Reserved/Independent: He very rarely depends on other for support. He is used to and trained to learn how to defend himself, and take care of himself. He has it sort of programmed into him to do what ever he can to survive despite the consequences (though he is taking greater control over this). Along with this, he tends to keep to himself and only talks if he needs to talk.

To The Point: He does no beat around the bush, and is not afraid to tell things like they are. The only time this does not apply is if he is trying to be manipulative.

Tough: 13 is not one to go easy on someone. "Tough Love" is his ultimate motto. He does not like to show weaknesses, and does his best to cover them up to anyone and everyone (with the only exception being close friends). It is apart of his training and is still embedded into him. He does what he has to do to get things done and isn't afraid to do it. He get's his hands dirty if he has to and doesn’t complain about it. He also has a bit of a temperament issue and has a short fuse.

Determined: He normally does whatever he can to get what he wants. He will stop at nothing if he has his mind set on something. He is stubborn and it can be hard to change his mind of something.

Manipulative: This goes along with his determination, as he will do anything to get what he wants he uses manipulation most of the time to get it. He knows how to get into peoples heads and use their weaknesses against them. If he cannot win a fight by pure strength he will not stop to bring an opponent down by getting into their heads. This trait is something that he is slowly weaning himself out of. It is also only good for those people who are easier to get to.

Instinctive: As a cat shifter, 13's personality can be very cat like. This ties in with his independence but also influences him to be rather neat, curious, and dignified. He also has a tendency to keep his senses active and keeps his own mental directory of people and smells.

Calculating: He has been trained to always asses a situation, to keep on alert at all times, and to never let your guard down. He normally never enters a room without knowing all the potential exits, weapons, and threats. Though he has been rather judgmental in the past, he has grown to expect the unexpected after living in the reserve for so long. As a super can look like anyone and even if someone looks weak you never know what they could do to hurt you.

Amber: She’s my family, and probably the closest I’ll ever have to blood relatives. She’s a giant pain, but I still love her nonetheless. The worst part is how good she thinks she is with her shifting, and how much better she thinks she is than me at it. Okay maybe she is really a better shifter than me, but I still kick her ass once in a while. At least she understands what I’ve gone through when it comes to labs and what I go through with my shifting.

Adrianna: Well you are Amber's friend, but sometimes I can't stand you, maybe its cause you can't stand me.

Cian: He's just a kid really, I don’t know him well, but I think he's been in labs. I feel really stupid for dragging him into my schemes because he was easy to manipulate. I'm going to have to make it up to him somehow, even though I have absolutely no idea how. I just wish this kid wouldn't keep back talking me.
He is the most awkward person to talk to. I know he’s gone through hell and back with labs, and I understand that. I guess I still don’t know what to think of him. I still feel terrible for how things went when he first joined, but he doesn’t seem to care anymore. I really don’t understand how he’s stayed so loyal to the RA, and for some reason I just really hope he sticks around for a while…I just really still wish the kid would stop talking aback to me.

Rorie: She’s really /really/ quiet and doesn’t seem to sleep much. I hear her awake a lot. I don’t know what to say much about her other than the fact that she seems rather capable.

Muse: I have no idea what to say about him. I don’t know if I dislike him or just tolerate him. He kind of frustrates me but then again most people do.

Xave: I don't really know much about Xave. He seems willing enough to pull his own weight and I need that.

Mak: I found her wandering lost in the streets, well maybe she found me but whatever. She was nice enough not to turn a blind eye to me when I was hurt, and even if I could have taken care of myself just fine, I really did need that water. I know the Doc wants to use her for experiments again, and I'm not sure how I feel about such an innocent looking girl being put through that. I know what its like to be tested on.

DSR: Die...all of you just die, because if you don't you'll wish you were dead by the time I find you.

Connor: He's ok. But he better take good care of Amber. I've promised her I wouldn't lay a hand on him, that I wouldn't hurt him, because I've left scars on him before. He's a stubborn kid but I think he treats her well and I respect that.

David Allegan: backstabbing traitor. You better be happy that I've changed a bit, and that you have a use for me or I'd of killed you by now. You’re lucky that even though I hate you’re living guts I can stand to tolerate you.

Lexi: I had to spend the night with her and I'm extremely embarrassed that I ended up actually sleeping next to her kitten form after a sleep shift. Apparently I took too much catnip before I fell asleep. She isn't so bad, even after she saw a side of me I wish she never did. She's probably one of the few people that I've been able to actually apologize to. It’s nice to be given second chances.

Thane: Not too bad. He's pretty decent and even opens his house up to his enemies, like me. Which is pretty weird, but maybe he knew my intentions were true...that I had only went to the refuge to help Amber and couldn't make it home that night. I wonder what would have happened if he had kicked me out, and how I would've gotten back to the RA. He seems to be a better leader than I could ever be. Anyway, I'm surprised he doesn’t hate me even after I attacked him. Have to admit, his powers are annoying as heck. I hate electricity. As I talk to him more over time I realize that we’d probably make a pretty good team, and I really love to harass him. It’s so damn funny.

Lukas: My Second in command. Its weird cause I've never had someone in the RA who was this loyal, without brainwashing them. heh. He's a tough kid, and he cares a lot about the others here, probably way more than I do. But He gets the job done, and is well trained. Though there is still a lot he has left to learn and I guess its up to me to teach him. Still my second in command, and probably one of the best damn friends I’ve ever had. I have no doubt I can get everyone off this reserve after all the help he’s given me. He’s a damn good person, solider, and friend. He’s probably the only person I’ve ever talked to so much about myself. Plus we make a hell of a team.

Lily: hmm its funny how much she is out to make me happy. She's pretty nice, I just hope she can actually fight. She seems to have some hidden inner demons, kind of like the rest of us. So she fits in well. Lily is actually rather kickass and I’m glad she’s on our team. She also cares at lot for us at the refuge and she makes some damn good food.

Kat: Creepy woman. I hope you just keep David busy and off of my back. Damn you Kat, why did you have to help me? I hate feeling like I owe people. As well you think you’re so creepy and omniscient but I can see that spark deep down that means you actually care about the RA and me. At least I can trust you way more than I trust David.

Lou: You are a manipulative thief. All you care about is fending for yourself and could care less if you were the only one to survive this whole damn ordeal.

/ Kevin: You can be really annoying to me cause I don’t get along with kids so well and you tend to cling to me a lot. But you are rather mature and quiet too so I like that. Anyway, you’re family anyway. Shifters have to stick together.

Once they were finally inside 13 dropped the soaking wet Lukas gently on the wood floor. "No they aren't going to be enough. I need clothes too. We also need more blankets and food. And something to warm him up with. I think we might have some emergency heat packs somewhere in one of our bins." The large cat nodded his head. "I'm going to have to go back to the base. He can't travel so I'll have to bring it back here...just get him situated and do what you can. I'll be back as fast as possible." He bent down to look at Lukas and gave another small chuff. "Not sure if you can hear me...but stick in there. I'll be back with supplies."

He stepped back and bunched up his muscles and leapt for the door, taking off running as fast as his legs could carry him. He turned more northbound and followed the open edge near the water towards the end of the island where there was a point that would make the water crossing shorter. The black cat launched his way over half broken boats and debris along the beach until he reached the small jut of land that curved out towards the rushing water.

A moment later the large cat was careening down one of the docks, latching his feet onto the end of the wooden platform he launched himself nearly 30 feet out over the water and disappeared beneath the choppy and dark waves. Using his powerful feet to drive himself forward he broke back to the surface where the pounding rain poured down on him again. The large tiger like cat was a very good swimmer but that didn't make the third of a mile swim with waves churning him about an easy task. Minutes passed before 13 could get his feet onto solid ground again. But he didn't even have time to shake his fur out properly before he forced himself to a run again.

Down the streets, feet flying, lungs burning, and asphalt scratching his pads, the large cat had almost made it back to the base. At least the rain had let up to a light drizzle now and the wind had died down to barely a whisper. The clouds remained persistent though so the atmosphere remained dim. He tried his best not to think about Lukas, back at the Marina, but instead focused his mind on what he needed to get and what he would put it in and how he would get it back again.

13 had begun to grow rather disoriented as he ran. He wasn't sure if he'd ever run this far this fast, even when he used to chase around Amber. And when he recognized the Hardware Store he couldn't stop, his paws and claws refusing to get much traction on the slippery surface and instead he careened into the door, knocking it off his hinges. He tripped and flopped down on his side on the main floor of the building and laid there for a second, trying to re-gather his bearings and catch his breath.

He knows how to get into peoples heads and use their weaknesses against them. If he cannot win a fight by pure strength he will not stop to bring an opponent down by getting into their heads. This trait is something that he is slowly weaning himself out of. It is also only good for those people who are easier to get to.

Instinctive: As a cat shifter, 13's personality can be very cat like. This ties in with his independence but also influences him to be rather neat, curious, and dignified. He also has a tendency to keep his senses active and keeps his own mental directory of people and smells.

Calculating: He has been trained to always asses a situation, to keep on alert at all times, and to never let your guard down. He normally never enters a room without knowing all the potential exits, weapons, and threats. Though he has been rather judgmental in the past, he has grown to expect the unexpected after living in the reserve for so long. As a super can look like anyone and even if someone looks weak you never know what they could do to hurt you.

Amber: She’s my family, and probably the closest I’ll ever have to blood relatives. She’s a giant pain, but I still love her nonetheless. The worst part is how good she thinks she is with her shifting, and how much better she thinks she is than me at it. Okay maybe she is really a better shifter than me, but I still kick her ass once in a while. At least she understands what I’ve gone through when it comes to labs and what I go through with my shifting.

Adrianna: Well you are Amber's friend, but sometimes I can't stand you, maybe its cause you can't stand me.

Cian: He's just a kid really, I don’t know him well, but I think he's been in labs. I feel really stupid for dragging him into my schemes because he was easy to manipulate. I'm going to have to make it up to him somehow, even though I have absolutely no idea how. I just wish this kid wouldn't keep back talking me.
He is the most awkward person to talk to. I know he’s gone through hell and back with labs, and I understand that. I guess I still don’t know what to think of him. I still feel terrible for how things went when he first joined, but he doesn’t seem to care anymore. I really don’t understand how he’s stayed so loyal to the RA, and for some reason I just really hope he sticks around for a while…I just really still wish the kid would stop talking aback to me.

Rorie: She’s really /really/ quiet and doesn’t seem to sleep much. I hear her awake a lot. I don’t know what to say much about her other than the fact that she seems rather capable.

Muse: I have no idea what to say about him. I don’t know if I dislike him or just tolerate him. He kind of frustrates me but then again most people do.

Xave: I don't really know much about Xave. He seems willing enough to pull his own weight and I need that.

Mak: I found her wandering lost in the streets, well maybe she found me but whatever. She was nice enough not to turn a blind eye to me when I was hurt, and even if I could have taken care of myself just fine, I really did need that water. I know the Doc wants to use her for experiments again, and I'm not sure how I feel about such an innocent looking girl being put through that. I know what its like to be tested on.

DSR: Die...all of you just die, because if you don't you'll wish you were dead by the time I find you.

Connor: He's ok. But he better take good care of Amber. I've promised her I wouldn't lay a hand on him, that I wouldn't hurt him, because I've left scars on him before. He's a stubborn kid but I think he treats her well and I respect that.

David Allegan: backstabbing traitor. You better be happy that I've changed a bit, and that you have a use for me or I'd of killed you by now. You’re lucky that even though I hate you’re living guts I can stand to tolerate you.

Lexi: I had to spend the night with her and I'm extremely embarrassed that I ended up actually sleeping next to her kitten form after a sleep shift. Apparently I took too much catnip before I fell asleep. She isn't so bad, even after she saw a side of me I wish she never did. She's probably one of the few people that I've been able to actually apologize to. It’s nice to be given second chances.

Thane: Not too bad. He's pretty decent and even opens his house up to his enemies, like me. Which is pretty weird, but maybe he knew my intentions were true...that I had only went to the refuge to help Amber and couldn't make it home that night. I wonder what would have happened if he had kicked me out, and how I would've gotten back to the RA. He seems to be a better leader than I could ever be. Anyway, I'm surprised he doesn’t hate me even after I attacked him. Have to admit, his powers are annoying as heck. I hate electricity. As I talk to him more over time I realize that we’d probably make a pretty good team, and I really love to harass him. It’s so damn funny.

Lukas: My Second in command. Its weird cause I've never had someone in the RA who was this loyal, without brainwashing them. heh. He's a tough kid, and he cares a lot about the others here, probably way more than I do. But He gets the job done, and is well trained. Though there is still a lot he has left to learn and I guess its up to me to teach him. Still my second in command, and probably one of the best damn friends I’ve ever had. I have no doubt I can get everyone off this reserve after all the help he’s given me. He’s a damn good person, solider, and friend. He’s probably the only person I’ve ever talked to so much about myself. Plus we make a hell of a team.

Lily: hmm its funny how much she is out to make me happy. She's pretty nice, I just hope she can actually fight. She seems to have some hidden inner demons, kind of like the rest of us. So she fits in well. Lily is actually rather kickass and I’m glad she’s on our team. She also cares at lot for us at the refuge and she makes some damn good food.

Kat: Creepy woman. I hope you just keep David busy and off of my back. Damn you Kat, why did you have to help me? I hate feeling like I owe people. As well you think you’re so creepy and omniscient but I can see that spark deep down that means you actually care about the RA and me. At least I can trust you way more than I trust David.

Lou: You are a manipulative thief. All you care about is fending for yourself and could care less if you were the only one to survive this whole damn ordeal.

/ Kevin: You can be really annoying to me cause I don’t get along with kids so well and you tend to cling to me a lot. But you are rather mature and quiet too so I like that. Anyway, you’re family anyway. Shifters have to stick together.

RP SAMPLE
Once they were finally inside 13 dropped the soaking wet Lukas gently on the wood floor. "No they aren't going to be enough. I need clothes too. We also need more blankets and food. And something to warm him up with. I think we might have some emergency heat packs somewhere in one of our bins." The large cat nodded his head. "I'm going to have to go back to the base. He can't travel so I'll have to bring it back here...just get him situated and do what you can. I'll be back as fast as possible." He bent down to look at Lukas and gave another small chuff. "Not sure if you can hear me...but stick in there. I'll be back with supplies."

He stepped back and bunched up his muscles and leapt for the door, taking off running as fast as his legs could carry him. He turned more northbound and followed the open edge near the water towards the end of the island where there was a point that would make the water crossing shorter. The black cat launched his way over half broken boats and debris along the beach until he reached the small jut of land that curved out towards the rushing water.

A moment later the large cat was careening down one of the docks, latching his feet onto the end of the wooden platform he launched himself nearly 30 feet out over the water and disappeared beneath the choppy and dark waves. Using his powerful feet to drive himself forward he broke back to the surface where the pounding rain poured down on him again. The large tiger like cat was a very good swimmer but that didn't make the third of a mile swim with waves churning him about an easy task. Minutes passed before 13 could get his feet onto solid ground again. But he didn't even have time to shake his fur out properly before he forced himself to a run again.

Down the streets, feet flying, lungs burning, and asphalt scratching his pads, the large cat had almost made it back to the base. At least the rain had let up to a light drizzle now and the wind had died down to barely a whisper. The clouds remained persistent though so the atmosphere remained dim. He tried his best not to think about Lukas, back at the Marina, but instead focused his mind on what he needed to get and what he would put it in and how he would get it back again.

13 had begun to grow rather disoriented as he ran. He wasn't sure if he'd ever run this far this fast, even when he used to chase around Amber. And when he recognized the Hardware Store he couldn't stop, his paws and claws refusing to get much traction on the slippery surface and instead he careened into the door, knocking it off his hinges. He tripped and flopped down on his side on the main floor of the building and laid there for a second, trying to re-gather his bearings and catch his breath.
