well.. i don't hate the haiku at all. "cease to be" is a perfect ending, and since i'm a total fan of the two words "fading away", to me it was very touching. a haiku is a very difficult thing to do, and I think this one, is beautiful. it's simple, and it makes me actually kinda sad, even if there are no hints of feelings. combined with the picture, it still creates a feeling.

I like the stock you chose and the overall theme.
But I hate the haiku. And I'm so often a fan of your haiku that I feel bad saying that. I think it's the back-to-back "away"/"into". You have a limited numbers of words to showcase and so many of them seem wasted.

thank you, but honestly hate seems like a very strong word. i can understand you not liking the haiku portion of it, but hate seems to suggest so much more than just believing that the piece is lacking because of my limited vocab, i know that much myself already. and it's mostly why i don't write so much, or am reluctant to post anything.
but this piece is one that i'm actually happy with.

To stay on point, I didn't say anything about your vocabulary, just this haiku. Which I took a few days off from, came back to, and mostly feel the same about. But I don't enjoy making people feel bad. Feel free to hide my comments, and you won't have to worry about them in the future.

i apologise for misunderstanding the vocabulary thing, and i hope i didn't offend you're criticism or you for the help offer on the pieces i write.
you're comments are always useful and appreciated, although this one just caught me off guard a little bit, hence my original reply. other than that, like i said i always appreciate the feedback you so often offer because you try to help improve my writing, and i do hope you continue to do so in the future.
