She loves to write, and doesn't keep it a secret. She mostly writes stuff she creates herself, but she also writes about her feelings and opinions. She is also an insomniac.
History:
- Torch Song was really excited to have a foal. She bought a bunch of stuff for Ink. Torch also talked to her a lot when she was pregnant. Toe Tapper, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck. He would check on Torch often, and paced around a lot. Something in common between them: they were both expecting a boy. They even chose a male name before she was born. Both of them were surprised when they found that Ink was a girl. They still kept the name for her, claiming it still fits her.
-As a filly, Ink aspired to be a singer just like her parents. However, she couldn't sing well. She sang songs almost 24/7. On one of the Ponytones concerts, she sang along. An elderly pony that was attending scolded her for causing such a racket. She told him her reason why she was singing. Ink's dream shattered once the elderly pony told her that ponies would rather sit in a room full of fire than hear her sing. Once he said that, all the ponies in the area laughed hysterically. After that event, Ink vowed to never sing again. She stopped going to concerts and stopped singing altogether.
- Before graduating from Ponyville Elementary, Ink decided to write something. At the ceremony, Ink read the speech with the intent to inspire her fellow classmates. It worked, and she got many cheers. Then, her cutie mark appeared. After the ceremony, she began to think about high school and the future. Then, she thought that maybe writing is what she likes.
