And here is the end of this chapter!
It was only a small one as a sort of "Pilot episode" because I wasn't sure if people would like this or not...
But I think most of you guys like it right? So with that, I am happy to announce I will be doing the entire story of Flowerfell!

The Flowerfell comic is a tribute to Siviosanei's AU and fanfiction 'Overgrowth'. The story doesn't belong to me and my art only serves to bring the story to life.
Any extra scenes or dialogue are there to help explain motivations, fill plot holes or give characters a 3D feel. The overarching story and plots will stay the same.

Oh, jeez. I swear, your art just gets better and better with every page (which I didn't think was remotely possible considering how gorgeous it already is?), and it just oozes atmosphere. I like the little touches you add to the story, and the visuals compliment it perfectly. I love it when an adaptation can add it's own spin to something, and this encapsulates the original whilst not quite being a carbon copy. And, my god, the way you do lighting is PHENOMENAL. You should be so proud of this.

I'm really glad you can see the little touches I add, I keep experimenting with different stuff and it's wonderful to hear that it's noticed
And I'm pleased you like my take on Flowerfell! I really wanted to pay homage to the original but after sifting through the transcript and analysing things I found some plot holes and things that would be confusing to the reader so I wanted to flesh out the characters a little and fill the holes!
Once again this means a lot, I loved reading this comment thank you!

Ah, this page is my favourite right now. The mood, the panels, the HAND (his hand is wonderful, I can't even). I can see his socks are yellow, that's an interesting touch. And his SOUL! His wonderful tiny tiny soul! And the shiny tooth! The last panel looks really nice. Her face looks so calm and comfortable I felt like going to sleep right now. She loves bed as much as I do!
I see he knows about determination and resets, so my wishful thinking is that he's gonna be a little nicer to the protagonist...? A little...? A tad? Just... the not-gunna-kill-ya way?

Indeed he does, thanks to the save star necklace around his neck which he invented himself in order to track the time warps and resets that keep happening!
Hmmm we will have to see, at this point he hates humans and is even more frustrated and angry that these resets could be occurring because of Frisk. So if anything he hates her more... :c

Yeah but... hrm... The hate is somehow justified, cause he doesn’t know that’s not Frisk's fault. I mean... he doesn't know that Frisk doesn’t control it (I guess everybody would like to be saved from dying, but dying over and over is not something to look forward to). But at the same moment he knows that Frisk is dangerous and unkillable. And for now, wierdly friendly and calm. Hating fits him, but if he's a scientist and knows that Frisk could end all of them, shouldn't he be more cautious around the human then? Not jumping to kill om sight.

Yep that's exactly how he feels, aware of the timeline resetting and how his actions may never even matter in the long run, he wants to find out why and put a stop to it!
Though at the first time after meeting Frisk, he wasn't aware that the reset could be happening because of her.
He saw a human, knows they at dangerous and killed her through a sneaky way (the buzzer in the hand) so that they could never challenge him in battle and risk being dusted.
However, when the timeline reset he noticed that happened after Frisk died and so now he begins to wonder. But he can't be sure as there isn't enough evidence yet.
Killing her over and over would confirm this truth to him. Not to mention if he died doing it he knows time could very well reset again with him still alive, thus that wouldn't matter either.

Well... he does. But I don't think he's suicidal(?) already to try and test the "even if I die, I will come back". Frisk does come back when she dies, at least that's the teory for now. But with him to come back there must be one important thing happening - perfect timing. He must die in a time period that WILL be reset when the human dies ( I doubt he's gonna bet on Frisk resetting out of her own good will to bring him back). If not, he won't come back ever. He doesn't know how long back in time the resets go, so... is he willing to risk it with such little data?
But yeah. Killing Frisk would confirm the theory. Although I would be careful, cause even Patience soul may snap after too many deaths.

I don't think he's actively suicidal but he's definitely depressed and probably doesn't care if he doesn't come back. The orginial game definitely pointed to this too with his lack of sleep and use of puns to make light of the situation, even saying getting to the surface doesn't really appeal to him anymore. He lives in a perpetual hell with only one hope of getting out and even if he does he is aware that time resets so much that it may be inevitable that he finds himself back in the underground despite all everyones efforts. So not matter what he does right now he believes he can't do anything to make it better.
Yeah so he's probably not worried on the timing and doesn't mind if he doesn't come back (at this point) (later on he gets back his spirit for life) at this point he doubts even if he finds out why the timeline keeps resetting that he will be able to do anything about it. But he figures that he might as well just see what happens.
I dunno I'm just going off the original story really, I think that's what the creator was going for anyways.

Well, I had this feeling about him in the original game too. Full blown depression - sleeping but being tired, not much energy or will to do anything, still trying to pull the jobs despite napping all the time, pretending in front of the family that everything's ok, all the mess in his room. And the ultimate line - "just give up, i did".
Now that I think about it, your Sansy Boy trying to end the whole timefuck spiral isn't that suicidal... it's just different, wierd, totally unhealthy way to find a solution. But that means you wanna keep with the original UT story and Flowey kept resetting too before Frisk fell there?

Yeah that's what I feel he has definitely, poor guy!
It really hits home the depressing situation and atmosphere of Undertale!
Yeah I mean he just wants to find a way to make sure everything stops resetting even if it takes his life, I think his situation has driven him a little insane (I mean his temper just gives it away 
Yep I'll be sticking with the whole Flowey resetting before Frisk fell as that is mentioned in the original Overgrowth story. It says that Flowey resetted in order to try to help save the humans but in the end his efforts were always in vain and he stopped trying which could be why when Frisk fell, her determination was much stronger and transferred the power to her!
Sans has been tracking these resets that Flowey did for a while now which is what he works on in his secret lab and why he crafted the save star. He managed to pin down that the humans could had something to do with this and so his hatred deepened further for them. However, due to the fact that they eventually died, he had to conclude that it was another's presence doing this, so he's been on the search for them (Flowey!)
And now he's found a human that resets when they die everytime . He needs to find a way to stop them from ever resetting again and perhaps learn more about why and how they have this power in the process. Then he may be able to allow himself some hope of escaping the Underground finally.

Oh no. This could mean he doesn't know about Flowey at all (or didn't find him). There were resets, yeah. But the humans died without resetting to far (and ultimately, stayed dead). So now, when Frisk is around and CLEARLY, she's the one coming back just after being dead... Oh... He may think that SHE's the one who's been resetting all the time. All. The. Time. Ouch.

Nope not at all really, no one knows who flowey is apart from alphys. It says in the original text that Flowey tried to use his reset powers to help the humans out, but inevitably they always died and he gave up.

Ah yes that plot hole shall be explained in the next chapter, but basically monsters are still afraid of humans as they are powerful and most of the residents will leave it up to the Royal Guard to protect them. I'm sure they are afraid that if they try they will get dusted! Plus money is money and Frisk was willing to pay
