This took forever to get a good sketch going for, dunno why but finally think I'm happy with this!

This looks amazing!
I love the color gradient from blue, dark and cold to orange-brown, warm and bright. It tells a story of hope and probably friendship. What where these two up to? They probably had an adventure beyond our imagination in the cursed forest.
The effects on the jewelry and the second horse's mane and tail are splendid!
This is truly a masterpiece.
P.S.: Additional amazingness-points for cherry blossoms. They are simply beautiful and fit the atmosphere so well.

Yes the colors were perhaps the most fun to work with! I was inspired by a picture of a cherry blossom tree in a dark, blue forest.

There's a small park I have to pass through every time I cycle to work. There are a few cherry trees. I didn't know they are cherry trees...it was beautiful
