Usually I only give away the codes to my OCs to friends of mine, but in the spirit Mermay I thought it would be nice to share some of the secrets of how I made Lazuli from my previous Mermay submission (Hastily dressed so I don't have to mark this as NSFW lol). While I made a few octopus mermaids before in Kisekae (One of them an anime version of Ursula from The Little Mermaid ), those models couldn't move their heads at all due to the tentacles being considered part of the head instead of the body. After learning how to layer multiple body parts from Meet-The-Real-Me 's excellent pics (thank you so much for publicly sharing the codes man), I finally found a workaround to my problem with my previous Cecaelia models. I'm sharing Lazuli's model here publicly in the hopes that she can help others make their own octopus mermaid OCs using her as a base. If you do make your own Cecaelia OCs (or just use Lazuli herself), I'd love it if you tagged me, I absolutely LOVE seeing others use my models and exports for inspiration!Now if you don't care at all about being able to move the head at all and just want to be able to use the model without the hassle of layering the body and using three separate character slots to do it, I also have the complete model for you to use down below:
