Entry for SeldomSimone 's 1k design contest! I decided to do something for the song Enchanté because I think It's really pretty and i really like it! <3

"When I was a little lass
The angels leapt from panes of glass
So unafraid, unafraid
And the arches knelt to pray
While the gargoyles kept away
Any demon that would scheme to steal
My childlike faith

We huddled up, we held on tight
For grounded men were jealous of
The angel's flight, angel's flight
They were butterflies to them
So they brought their boards to pin
The wings and bodies of our gods
For studying

We couldn't fight them in the end
Once we saw the heavens through
Their modern lens, modern lens
Oh how can we atone
For the secrets we were shown
Like a basilisk they fixed our spirits
Hard as stone

Alas the muses through their glasses
Drift away as only madness
Drowning in the din
Of our animal skins

Enchanté, enchanté, enchanté, enchanté
Every myth to crack its lips
Has nothing more to say..."

Yes! I made it just in the nick of time! I got way too into this one, and I actually absolutely love it!
Thank you SeldomSimone , for accidentally making me create a whole new world to fantasize about and work on instead of the fifty others that I already have, and have been neglecting. I will never finish them now (lol, jk I'll probably get bored and go back to them again soon XD)
I was gonna do more designs, but I ran out of time, so oh well...

Anyway here is little bit of their lore
(Because I got a little bit obsessed)

Their real name is forgotten, and couldn't be translated into any known language even if it wasn't. They are called Moth, like the rest of the wingless. At some point in time they used to all be a fairies, but that was before their wings were stolen and pinned to walls.

Anyway, Moth is a once fairy. Without their wings they become dull and monochrome colored, and their eyes become white and lamp-like. They also lose their memories and become forgetful. They also lose the ability to think right, and so become very docile and don't do things on their own very much. They are attracted to light tho, and will follow any light sources, which is what people use to control them and move them around. They still possess a small amount of magic even without their wings, which enables them to sense emotions and thoughts, and they can also manipulate them somewhat. Which is why people like to keep them around. Especially for important meeting or deals, to tell if the other person is lying or to put someone in a good mood. They are mostly only owned by the very rich tho. It's a high sign of status to be able to own a Moth.

This Moth in particular is owned by a very wealthy and powerful lord.
The chain around their neck is mostly just used as a leed or as way to keep them from wandering off when they are not being used, and It is very long and light. Normally when they are not being used they are left in the garden to sit and watch the birds sing. They are very curious, and enjoy listening to music, and will normally fallow it the same way they do with light. They also will sometimes sway and dance to the songs unprompted, which isn't entirely uncommon for a Moth, but their are also a great many who don't.

Alright thats all I have time to write! I hope you like it! It was really fun to come up with and i am going to be thinking about this for a very long time. I also have so many more ideas for it too and several more characters I've thought of that I might design soon. So look forward to that. Thank you SeldomSimone <3
