I have been getting some art block recently and I can't just draw anything if not motivated or the drawing will be rushed.I eventually decided to draw Spongebob realistically. I wanted it so that it he looks like an actual sponge from the cleaning section of a store that you decide to squish out of satisfaction. I used the technique in which you scribble a bunch of circles. For the bottom of Spongebob, I was seriously confused with the shape. I also made it so that the top of his head is kinda moving out like the original Spongebob rather than the new and more even and square one. His Krusty Krab uniform hat was a later addition to cover more space at the top because he was spaced though he is too low down the paper for my liking. I had also some debate on light sources. Anyways, I am greatly happy with my drawing of one of my favorite cartoon characters.
