Description
DISCLAIMER: This is an unofficial tutorial. This is how i do my designs, and how i approach the genes when i am coming up with a design. This should by no means replace the examples/directions given by the group in the Design Guide Handbook . If you are told something by a DC admin that is different from what is in this guide, please follow the admins guidlines.
Hey guys,
I felt the urge to whip this up last night as i know i struggle with piebald and wanted to try and get down exactly what i think so its easier for me to design in the future. In doing so i figured it might be something that you guys find handy in regards to how you approach these genes. Keep in mind that my previous genetics interest was horses, and i am not familiar with canine genetics, so all of this is going to be compared to how i see them in regards to similar equine patterns.

Hope it helps some of you, i may add to it down the line if the VG guide is revamped and as a Monet Pied one is released.

This is always great when I have to design a piebald baby! There are so many factors and options to think about! Also really love the examples of how certain marks can interact with piebald, my current challenge geno is a sphinx with piebald, roan, *and* merle! Should be beautiful if I can pull it off, though!

This is super helpful! As simple as Piebald seems, I struggle a lot with it, so for my next piebald Toko, this will definitely be a great asset c:
