Apparently Highton View Terrace is in Hikarigaoka in Nerima - The birthplace of anime, where lots of anime studios are born. Just thought it'd be a fun fact lol, and those are actually the locations on the road sign in case you're wondering.
Really missed season 1 of digimon, back when the story was so fresh and original and everything felt like an adventure~!
So about the piece. Yep this is Taichi, Sora, and Greymon. And they're walking on a highway~
I'm pretty inexperienced with backgrounds, so really tried my best with this one. Hope you like it~

Digimon, the joys of my childhood
Taichi was done very well. When my eye travel around especially towards Greymon I lost interest cause he could of had more time invested into. For example some lines could be darker so you can bring out depth in Greymon. Maybe use a different color to differentiate the streets they're walking on and the sky background. Hope you get more experience on backgrounds.

Colors, depth and lighting is something I improved on my work only after heavy criticism and practice in my 13 year time line.
I do a lot of fields in "art" wherever my inspiration takes me

Take art classes you'll see amazed at how other people will express themseleves, go outside and people watch, open yourself to new experience, explore.

yeah.. I dont know if something was lost in the trans, but it got confusing at times D: Taichi and Sora were really good together. Of course the series got more confusing as they came along... maybe that was because I was watching the dubbed versions??

the second season might've been confusing because it just lacks the adventuring in the first season.. I mean, it felt a bit sloppy. Probably not anything lost in translation per se..
xD speaking of "Lost in Translation", that was a good movie

Well, I think there were a few continuity errors too- like in the first season, time was faster in the Digi world than the real world. Then in the second season, it was like they all had to make an excuse "Going camping" which would mean that Digi time matches up with real world time. In the first season, there would have been no need to make such an excuse. It should have been like they never even left in the first place.
Plus, I could never figure out how or why the Digi world changed people's clothes... :/ did I miss something??

Like Pokemon too... THATS another story with me. I think that they could have told a different/new story, and it still would have the mystery and the adventure, it just depends on how you tell it.

the manga is very different from the anime. They already have more than 6 main characters lol. Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow in the first part, Silver and Gold for second part, and I think there's more after that.. I just stopped reading cus I was too busy lol. Try reading the manga, the story is alot more refreshing with less fillers and pokemon actually die : |
