Description
A Magneto and Rogue commission. The client wanted it based on the pic of Mags and Rogue cover of Uncanny X-men #274 by Jim Lee. I'm by no stretch of the imagination as good as Mr Lee, and it was intimidating as hell. But the client was happy with how it turned out.Whew!

Nice! I need to read this one, I found 275, just not 274. Jim lee as way better than what they do now. Though the art on the Excalibur part with magneto, Charles, and callisto was pretty good. I'm glad these to finally got together for awhile.

Depends on your definition of 'old' he's been rejuvenated almost three times over the course of the series - the version that Rogue was with in that series was - physically - in his late thirties early forties

I like Rogue's current costume. It's simle, clean and does resemble her old duds. The Jim Lee costume was rad too though.
Ugh those movies shoulde been called Wolverine and the X-men. And they completely ruined my favourite chaacter, Cyclops and went and killed him in the third movie. WTF!

it's not that bad, but as it goes along with the new "personality" they gave her... I tend to dislike it

I mean, come on, they turned him into an emo boy as well >> a guy who dwells too much on his past. what about his great and wise mind? what about his friendship with some of the boys (Colossus to say the least) and Cyke.. though I am nooooot a huge fan of him, I was so disappointed by his role in these movies >> seriously. he's baddass!!

they spent like 20 years without seeing each other and bamf! the second he comes back in her life the second she falls in love with him?????? they didn't even give them enough time to build a real relationship!!! seriously, if your first love came back in your life and proposed you! would you say: "oh yes, I remember when we were together let's get married?" come on !!!! xD besides, look at what she became after Oo she's supposed to be STORM, a badass mutant, an untamed force of nature and with T'challa, she's no more than a cheerleader >> I know in some storyline they changed it and gave her a bit more personality, but it's worse than Sue Storm >> and I don't like the fact she just left the X-men. It was the perfect excuse to get rid of diversity for me. (not only her, look at what they did with Kurt, Colossus.. well, almost everyone except Wolverine...>> they just left!)

Haha, I'm not naive at all. I used to be super depressed, and thought a bad cloud followed me around everywhare then one day I woke up and said fuck it. Good things happen and I'm gonna enjoy the crap outta whatever small victories I get and that things are not bad all the time.
So viola! Here I am today, more awesome than before
Hmm, okay I can see how that would be a pain. BUT, Marvel is putting out amazingly awesome books at the moment so I can't be mad. heck, they've ruined and redeemed my favourite character as long as I can remember, it's the nature of the industry. Things'll do a 180 at some point and Storm will be a bad ass again so don't worry.
Heck, I waited years and years and DC has finally given one of my favourite charcaters the spotlight he deserves. And Marvel finally did right by Cyclops after having him be a whiny baby for so long.
Nothing lasts in comics so just look forward to then.
Sadly I think in AvX, if Storm does fight Thor she's gonna get pwned

I love Emma and Scott together. When he's with Jean he reverts to the skinny awkward kid he was when he joined Xaviers. I think Emma brings out the best in Scott, and she's bad ass.
Scott is in AvX, he's fighting Cap on one of the covers, and I think Hawkeye one one of the other covers.

Yup, SculptorTim, he's stuff is amazing! I have a Black Widow statue done by him.
