Well, I took some liberty with the design... I mean, if ya looked up the guy on google or something, not the coolest costume ever... Anyhow, he was the COBRA op that ran the swamp gear, mechs, vehicles. Might have been a buy with vehicle only kinda toy, but I'm not sure, my Copperhead figure was a hand-me-down from my babysitter when I was younger. (As well as the Joe's HQ base!)

I looked him up. I recognize him now. You're right, Copperhead was released in 1984, and came packaged with the Cobra Water Moccasin. That same exclusive set was also sold in 1985. In 1986, Copperhead was discontinued.
