What a nice day for a jog, Lin thought as she's heading through one of the parks. Such a cliched expression, but it was true. Skies were clear, sun was shining, and best of all, no Supers fighting anywhere nearby. Of course, not like it mattered anyways. Outside of one high profile surpervillain fight and a couple of high profile rescues that she did, including being part of the salvage operations after the Tidal Wave, she's hardly seen any action. She's done flying patrols and occasionally done foot patrols like she's doing today, but for whatever reason all of the action occured in a different part of town and by the time she got there it was either over or moved off somewhere else.

To the majority of people that recognized her on the street, she was Lin Li Wong, not Fantastic Lin. Lin has lived in the Angel Falls area for a few years now and has been seen on billboards and other advertisements for companies that wanted to see a woman with muscles advertise for them instead of one that was skin and bones. In fact, Lin's modeling agency had its main office just outside of the city outskirts, a decision that she's been happy that she made countless times after seeing the carnage that the fights have done to her city. Her house is the same way, out in the countryside somewhat, with a lot of private land for training, among other things.

When Lin first arrived in Angel Falls, she appeared to be just another model in an agency that had an office in town, with the exception of her muscular calves. When she met her boyfriend, however, they untapped her full potential and after a few years of training, she was finally willing to call herself a superheroine. When she registered with the local authorities, she had shown them only a small portion of her strength when she broke the then testing equipment. Lin paid for a replacement and more durable machine so that it wouldn't happen again.

As the music changed in her headphones, she looked around and saw that the park was deserted, so she sped up a little bit faster than what someone jogging could normally do. Once she left the park, she headed out into the street and continued her patrol, as if she was now in a car instead of jogging around. Oh, sure, she could fly anytime that she wanted to, but almost none of the other heroes in town patroled on the ground. This way, she could react better to the needs of the people, if necessary....
