Doctor Who X-Over with Transformers.... Yep that's right... This is my original idea, the Tardis Transforms... He'd obviously be an Autobot...TimeLord and Autobots... Hmmmm Megatron has his work cut out for him!Work in progress : Pencils, Inks, Digital Color to come soon!

I actually kinda like how you made the TARDIS male, because officially (as far as I can remember of the old and new canon) the TARDIS's gender has never specified- most people just assume the TARDIS is female.
I can't wait for more!

I'm trying to learn to draw mech/tech a bit better, and when I feel that I can, I think I'll do the comic pages I have planned for the dear Doctor (would involve the Decepticons, and the Tardis transforming... (It appears cooler in my head I guess.)

I love the concept of this. I like the idea of the TARDIS as a transformer. I look forward to adding your completed version to my favorites.
I have always thought of the TARDIS as female too. The Fourth Doctor always called her his "old girl."
Even in the current series I have thought of her as female. She is protective of the Doctor and is not just a ship, I think she is his oldest and dearest friend as well.

Yeah, I'm having the 'she' conversation with another looker on this, and I have to agree with both of you. Hmmm maybe I'll make it look like Julia Childe... She was on after the Doctor when I was watching it on PBS back in the day in New Hampshire.

I have a good thought. Seriously think about it being asexual, with no gender in the robot form. Just a straight forward classic transformers style bot like Optimus which doesn't appear manly in the face.
She was on here in NC before Doctor Who on Saturdays. Doctor Who was on at 5:30 pm everyday during the week when I was growing up on PBS. It was shown in movie form on Saturdays - all the past weeks episodes shown all at once.

Which Doctor did you grow up watching? I grew up with Tom Baker in rerun form, but I never followed it main stream until David Tennant. I like the idea of just a regular old Transformer.

I mainly grew up on Tom Baker but watched all of them that I could get. I remember seeing Hartnell, troughton and pertwee episodes too. But I am a child of the early 70's so I grew up mainly watching Tom, hiding behind the couch afraid of the daleks. I made a lego Tardis to use with my GI Joe figures. I still have it by the way.

B/c The Tardis is a him... So naturally they should have the same hair... an extension of the Doctor. Who says that all the travelers he goes about with should be women? Eh? There are a lot of suggested ideas in the Who-niverse that the Doctor swings both ways... So I guess it would be okay if the Tardis was a male.. right?

the TARDIS has been refered to as a "she" on many occasions....
besides, most ships are refered to as girls, so why not the TARDIS?

I didn't know that about the Tardis, but you're right about ships and cars being referred to as "she"
Hmmmm, maybe I'll have the Tardis look like Rose or one of the girls from the OLD Doctor Who shows...
Honestly I don't remember much of the old shows and haven't given 100% to the new one either (sighs) I think I probably should if I'm going to be doing fan art of it... My bad, but that's so much for the insight! I really appreciate it!
