Description
(This is a Kisekae 2 Template)A cousin of the jinn. Ghuls are known to feast on the dead and drink blood. They are experts at ambush attacks and can mimic the sounds of animals. However ghuls are also known to be cowardly and and will typically avoid situations where they lack a significant advantage.
They have a fondness for metals of any nature and the more valuable they are the more they desire them.
Like jinn ghuls can change the density of their bodies. Even to the point of becoming a gaseous vapor. However also like the jinn they can still be captured inside gold objects if incapacitated.
Ghuls can't teleport objects to them on the request of an other worlder but instead have the ability to teleport life forms (including people) to them on request. Once again they can only do this if requested by an other worlder and can't request themselves to do it nor does it work for other demons.

Only jinn and their two close relatives. This is a side effect of their ability to to density shift. Exactly what properties gold has that allows them to be sealed inside. That is unknown but some speculate it has something to do with its ability to retain electrons. That is only a hypothesis though.

It just struck me as odd, but I guess that does make sense. Although I also find it ironic, since Gold is supposed to be an extremely conductive metal or something.
Plus it's really rare. Capturing a jinn is no cheap business. XD

Mostly I wanted it to be reminiscent of captured jinn in oil lamps and rings. Basically its a rehash of what I did with the Im.
And yes. I basically said it was a great conductor in the last comment. Though it being the potential factor that makes it useful for capturing jinn is definitely a bit of a stretch.

Yeah no prob. Basically electricity is the movement of electrons. Gold holds on to electrons really well and doesn't let many escape. Hence it is a really good conductor and actually the best choice of metal for wiring... If it wasn't so rare.
True. That said gold is an oddly particular metal. Firstly its yellow which is unusual in itself. But it is also very non-reactive. And there aren't many metals like that.

Did you know Oni is Japanese for Demon? So is Akuma actually, and while I think there's different situations for both words, the behind meaning is the same. That's why I named Ino from Whispers that, it's Oni backwards.

Oh cool. And yes I did no that. Demon or ogre or I think a few other things apparently from what I read. Apparently its a yokai that was originally depicted as a ghost like demon but was eventually anthropomorphised into the thing we have today.

I dunno. I guess its just the small size. The heads end up pretty big when you shrink characters down.
Which is to be expected. And very often fiction will put their own spin on these beings.
An interesting detail I feel is worth noting is that while previously depicted as malevolent, the oni have actually become a bit of a symbol of good luck in modern times.

I sort of incorporated that into my oni. Though good luck from them still naturally comes with a price. But the promise of good luck (even if its for a temporary period of time) could tempt a lot of people to summon them.

Probably a very wise choice. If anything in my eyes the only demon potentially worth summoning is an imp as they make excellent thieves so they can get into places no human can (not even factoring in their attributes) and usually don't request to much in return.
Who knows. Ice cream might be enough to settle the deal. Its a really nice treat and one they can't replicate very well back in their home.
