Paatte.
Paatte is the honorary royal pet of Lys and Altair Toramos. He's been a member of their family for a long time, and the closest to him is Lys. He's a loyal, playful, and energetic alien kitty with razor-sharp teeth. He physically looks like a cat but behaves more like a dog. Much like regular dogs, he likes to pee and attack people, mostly Achte, who doesn't mind as it doesn't hurt. Despite his dog-like nature, Paatte is smarter than he looks. He can recognize if anyone (human or alien) is a friend or foe and obeys his owners when under serious circumstances, such as attacking the enemy to give them the upper hand. As a cat-like alien, Paatte has abilities stronger than that of an average pet. His head can rotate a full 360 degrees and he shoots lasers in place of urine or flames when he farts. On Earth, he takes on the form of a big fat cat.

Paatte is a boonmee. "What's a boonmee?", you might ask?
Boonmees are red furred animals that resemble cats. They are native to Erra Prime, often found eating scraps or garbage. Originally descended from omnivorous ambush predators, they would often lie in wait for prey to come close before pouncing it. They are also avid scavengers, and wild-type boonmees are often still found causing a ruckus when encountered. The antennae on their heads are often used for signaling and communication, with the bio-luminescent bits being able to brighten or darken to indicate different meanings. Their tail antennae are mostly used for scent marking territory. Boonmee teeth are constantly regrowing, as they tend to lose teeth rather easily due to attempting to eat things they shouldn’t. Their digestion is known for being able to dissolve just about anything they can manage to get into their stomach. Their mouths and stomach can sometimes take up to 40 to 50% of their mass. Domesticated boonmees have been around for at least thousands of otokos (years) and are much smaller than their wild-type cousins. Friendlier, more biddable, and much less likely to eat a hand. Their head antennae and eyes are larger and more expressive for communicating with their Pleiadian owners better. They’re rather common across the galaxy now, although widely regarded as "slimy" and "kind of gross and cute at the same time". They’re loveable and loyal, especially when well fed. One would not expect them to be as intelligent as they are, but they’re sometimes known for their ability to understand a variety of commands and have a rather large vocabulary compared to other domesticated animals.
