I was wondering. If this is blender, how did you make everything so smooth and connected? I've been trying to make a zapper, and some parts come out really weird like the barrel and handle. If you could help me that would be great.

I created it in softimage. There are about 9 separate meshes I placed together to make it look like the zapper.
