Dixie Kong was created as the eleventh installment of the #Smashified series. You can watch the time lapse video here:

This was my first entry to the series where I took the lead for the painting process! Final touch ups are done byhextupleyoodot and Zesiul ; the fabulous hair was painted by Chris! I was introduced to Smashified through the triad collab of the Smashified Inklings where Chris, Omni, and I all tackled those two together.
As a long time fan of the Donkey Kong Country series, I was more than happy when I found out I would be working on Dixie. With Rare celebrating their anniversary in gaming, the timing was just right! This one actually ended taking some time as far as the process goes. As you can see, fur takes up most of Dixie Kong's character, so I tried to match the fur of Smash's aesthetics as close as I could! There's something relaxing about painting fur/hair. I hope you all enjoy the final result!

Be sure to give credit where credit is due if you plan to use the transparent version for anything!
