Description I would really encourage downloading this to look at the details.
The image consists of 1225 (35x35) individually drawn squares. Each is its own image, coming together to create a whole image.

A very meaningful piece to me. I've been chipping away at it for around 3 months now, and decided that this was the right time to finish it off.
This image is very much about process; about each individual square, and each individual moment.

If anyone is interested in purchasing this, please note me.

If you did it once you can surely do it again.. I guess we just need some clear moments to be able to have projects of this magnitude.. I can't really compare because i have never spent more than 3 days on a project of mine ... I don't have the capacity to extend my work on more than so many days.. So i salute you for your ambition and creativity once again !

Great amount of detail!  May I suggest you to try to work on gray paper to allow you to draw light and shaddows?

Wow this is so incredible to look at! I love how the title works with the image. Because you also have to take time to look at it and you are very aware that it TOOk time to draw and it's old hands so they have time written on them.

seanpt In reply to kikoeart [2016-12-18 19:58:24 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! Yes! These were all my intentions with the piece so I am glad you can see them clearly in the drawing!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kikoeart In reply to seanpt [2016-12-19 07:11:11 +0000 UTC]

Definitely! Not that this is the complete idea of the piece but I think going to architecture school (for me) has taught me to think in a particular way and for some reason this drawing makes me think you have - at least similar- thought patterns because of your studies. Not that that's all it is but I think it's a factor. Maybe?

seanpt In reply to kikoeart [2016-12-21 05:50:44 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I think so. At least for this image. It was very process based, but the process was also in order to let go of the end result being definitive or an exact way.

kikoeart In reply to seanpt [2016-12-21 09:35:29 +0000 UTC]

Yeah but I like that about architecture also, it's never a 'final finished' project because the process is connected with the way it will be used and that changes constantly with time, who uses it etc...which I think is so interesting.
So, yeah it's cool to see that sort thing in your art work
