Description i've been saving these for a long time, and have always wanted to do something with them. such as frame them, or put them under glass on a table top or something. but i was looking at them the other day, and i thought why not just photograph them? the focus is not great, and i may have lost something trying to sharpen them up in post. so, for those of you who are bored enough to care; here's a list of what's included here. i know i saw peter murphy and nine inch nails (separately) a few more times than mentioned. i saw the pixies on the doolittle tour, and when i was about 8, i saw roy orbison - and i loved it. not to mention a lot of great high school weekends in dallas with the local bands. and way back in 1984, i saw the go-gos with special guests um... flock of seagulls.

yeah, i like music just a bit.

Yeah, he loves playing in the UK. Unless you could go back in time to the Downward Spiral tour, I wouldn't be too upset about missing NIN.

I need to make a new version of this thing - I've seen sooo many shows since then!

That's cool - thanks for the link!
Not lucky enough to have seen them in their real heyday, but I guess I'm still pretty lucky.
Last saw Paul on the Stereo/Mono tour, which was wonderfully sloppy. I highly recommend seeing him if you get the chance.

Nice link - and thanks for the fave! I actually don't think a Mats reunion would be a good idea. Mostly because I don't know if any of them are off the wagon these days & it just wouldn't be right.

Honestly not trying to rub it in, but in regards to that page, when I saw PW on the Stereo/Mono tour and was lucky enough to meet him, I told him that I thought he was the greatest poet alive today. He cocked his head, sort of nodded & said "I don't know about that... but I'll take it".

Funny - as I'm typing this, 'Alex Chilton' just shuffled out of my quite large iTunes library.

it was. she was up there with her guitar, yodeling and all that - before anyone had heard of her and she turned into a pop hoochie.

but yeah, peter opened for the church in 86 or 87, and he did a cover of prince's 'purple rain'.
how's that for odd?
