I'd love to say this fight would go to Godzilla... but... The Cloverfield Monster has one Huge advantage besides being extremely nimble and having an army of smaller creatures living on it's body...
It carries a horrible Virus/Poison/Something in it's bite that may kill or at least weaken Godzilla. This would be an epic Battle indeed.

Also Clover is just a baby and its almost as big as the Legendary Godzilla (who is currently the biggest Godzilla) so imagine how big it will be when its grown up

So what will happen if Clover tries to eat Godzilla alive after growing up to be an adult?

Weren't the Parasites about the size of a human? They wouldn't be able to get through Godzilla's skin anymore than a bullet could. And don't forget Godzilla's ability to regenerate.

Fun thing about all parasites, they're smart enough to look for weaknesses in the skin. In the case of godzilla, they'd probably go for the eyes and mouth if they couldn't bite though softer areas near the underarms or groin.

Godzilla is an intelligent creature capable of learning from previous battles and formulating strategies. If an external attack won't work... perhaps an internal one would.

Well, aside from the size and mass (and the parasitic arthropods I've heard about the Cloverfield monster), what other abilities does the Cloverfield monster have? Godzilla is powered by nuclear energy.

All he actually has is his large set of teeth, swinging arms, and a set of external digestive arms. he also has a thick hide (though it doesn't regenerate like Godzilla's ) and it can swim with it's flat tail.

this is somthing that has been in my head ever since i watch cloverfield. who would win out of them two... i think clover yeah gozilla might be like uber tall and in japan's case the super powers (not to clear on them) but you look at cloverfield and see how much it takes. a tonnes worth of explosive and even a friggin nuke!! but if godzilla beat cloverfiled then cloverfields mum and dad wont be happy, (if they make asecond it's ment to be the mum and dad cos cloverfield was a baby incase you didnt know). well i wrote alot XD sry if i spoild anything for ya.

im not against clover, but i'll explain some facts:
Clover = sure he could withstand bombings, but he was going for the defensive mode, so he was actually in pain even if it never actually did any fatal harm to him. also the final attack thrown on him was not a nuke, it was a series of hard bombings that clean up cities to ash, but not as devastating as a nuke...
Godzilla = he's not uber tall, Clover IS, the original Godzilla was only about 55 meters tall while Clover was around 300 feet. He doesn't have any "super powers", just a devastating beam shot from his mouth. He has more resistance & experience on bombings and doesn't even feel pain + he was BORN from a nuke blast.

well i see your a worth advarsarry, but the uber tall godzilla came from the amricain remake. but there you do have to admit clover would kill that cos as i said clover took all that dammege but americain godzilla too 6 missiles to kill. i would watch the video link you sent, but i am kinda scard of watch gozilla vrs______ films cos i watch the really early "gozilla vrs king kong", yeeeeaaaahhh.... king kong was made stronger by electricity. is it just me or is there something wrong there, oh yeah and king kong won so either that was a movie made by guys with boll**ks for brains or godzilla in that film was the bad guy.
but still if they did make godzilla vrs cloverfeild it would be kinda cool, i mean i giant lizard fighting a giant fish wahts better than that

Well in King Kong vs. Godzilla, Both monsters fell into the ocean (King Kong retreated, while Godzilla swam into the abyss) so there isn't really a winner.
Anyways, Godzilla is considered the "bad guy" in a way in most movies and still wins the fights, and thats what makes him awesome, so i dont understand why would you be scared.

well...being a guy in a rubber monster suit isn't easy, the only flaws in Godzilla films in my opinion is the english language, because it makes the movie even crappier than it looks.
one for piece of info, Clover isn't evil, it's just a wild infant (it's a BIG baby lol), Godzilla is mostly considered evil.

It's not meant to be at the right scale, and it's the other way around, The original Godzilla is only 50 meters & Clover i think is around 300 ft. but remember that size doesn't matter for Godzilla -winks-

Godzilla has stared in 28 movies and has faced countless foes in each one, he has "wwaaayyyy" more experience than Clover. Godzilla has good aim and accuracy (he hit a meteor that was falling from space using his atomic ray). His ray is strong enough to destroy a single monster in one shot (watch his latest films to find out people). Godzilla is not just Japan's greatest threat, in Final Wars they siad he can destroy the entire world. Godzilla's hied is strong enough to resist falling into a volcanoe filled with lava and can stand up to nuclear bombs without a scratch (Gigan's chainsaws couldn't even cut through him XD). In Godzilla vs Destoroyah, Godzilla's burning form would've annihilated all life on earth if it wasn't for he ice masers and the Super X3. Godzilla posses super strength to wear he can throw other monsters thousands of miles away (that was demonstrated on his foe, Kumonga). This would be a tough battle for Godzilla, but Clover would turn out like the rest of Godzilla's old foes undoubtfully.
By the way, this is a very nice sculpt.
