Description
A gift for through the group If anyone likes making and sending gifts to people this group is really worth looking at.In their profile it was mentioned that they like many things, but Portal ended up getting stuck in my head, and led to these. They're made out of size 10 seed beads, and the blue and orange ones will sparkle in the light; it was the closest I could come to mimicking a portal.
I hope you like them *mewAeris !
Portal belongs to Valve

Damn, If I had money. This looks really cool, I'm a huge fan of Portal. -see my name- I write a lot of fanfiction about it. Anyway, I really hope I can afford to buy something like this one day.

Such a funny and enjoyable game. I try to keep my prices as low as possible (mostly just covering materials and hardly any time) so hopefully adding some Aperture Science goodness to your life won't be too hard.

I actually don't have an etsy account; not enough time to manage one as a student. I've done everything through paypal and dA for now.

This totally reminds me of how cool something like this would look like on a jacket. Placed where the two pieces of the zipper would open up. And I wish to thank you on keeping the tradition of doing kind things for others! (ovo) Keep up the amazing work!!

You've figured out my plan; to put one on my bag on the zipper.
Thanks, and I enjoy making things for others more than making them for myself.

What was that old quote about, intelligent people think alike?
And I understand completely, I hope you enjoy the rest of your work!

That is great. XD Seriously great. I love Portal and these are brilliant! I don't really have any critiques... though the orange one doesn't look as straight as the blue one, but some of that could be because of the size issues (for example, the orange has the legs and arm only while the blue has the head, which may offset it better.)

Thanks! The pattern for these also worked out really well.
It was hard to get them straight with the beads being different sizes. Usually it helps that the white ones are larger, but here it made things curve a bit. They look better when they're suspended and don't work lying down.

I believe it, haha. The pattern looks great!
Yeah I believe it. I didn't realize that they were different sizes, so that would make sense. Well, the only problem with things on a flat surface, any 'flaws' would show. (And they aren't really flaws, in actuality.)

I don't have the money to order beads online, so I have to stick with what I can get in the city, so there are different sizes a lot. I do consider it a limitation to what I do and it makes my work flawed, so I take the price down a bit and no one complains. They look much better when allowed to hang. I want to make a pair for my bag to go along with the Triforce.

Ahhh okay. It's not really that your work is flawed so much as it makes it unique. AND that means you're a true artist, because you're working with what you have available and you're making great art from it despite that limitation.
That'd be great. :3 Having them on your bag with your Triforce is a great idea.

I wish I could have two separate whites, one that would be smaller that I could use with other beads like in these, and one that are slightly bigger that I could use as outlines for pieces like Lyn and Link. They're so tiny not many people can see the difference, but I can.

Hmm I take it there aren't two sizes of white beads available at all in your area? Later, if you make more money, what about online?
Yeah, people don't see the difference because they aren't working with the beads firsthand, you know?

Well, there are, but they're not the sizes I need. Not a lot of people work with size 10 seed beads (what the white ones are) and it's hard to find size 11 (the size I don't have). There are larger sizes like size 8 or size 6, but those ones are larger and I don't work with them.
