Description "Don't worry!" She exclaimed grinning at him,
"One day it will all go up in flames anyways."
He cracked smiled, laughed a little.
"Then all we're left with is a little light spectacle with a nice pile of ash. And even that leaves in the end.
Legacy is meant to blow away I guess..."
He looked up at the moon,
Stars masked by shrouds of haze
"Why even try?" she probed, gazing with him
He stayed silent, spoke in a whisper
"Honestly, I don't know.
We all have our reasons
Money, success
But really... it all burns in the end
I just don't know.
What do you think?"
She rested her head on his shoulder and grabbed his hand.
"As for me," she looked at him, "I don't care. Why question the inevitable, just as long as I have you" she grinned
"As long as we have each other" he said
watching the moon as time burned away...

If every millisecond of our lives were photographed, would we look back on it and say why bother?

No, we wouldn't. If we had time to watch our lives the way we should, where every experience results in the joy of truly knowing life, the world would be a much better place. Life just moves to fast; we don't have time to think about all the connections, those passing milliseconds where trillions of processes surge through nature and produce awe inspiring works of raw emotion. There is so much we miss because we are human. Its our natural flaw I guess you could say...

Indeed, I've spent many a time trying to slow down. The most useful way is to focus on one object (I usually use a tree) and look at every inch of detail. Then I apply it to the rest of my day and look at it as if it were the bark. Every mark, scar, and gnarled piece counts.
