Description
Hello and thanks for looking...This is my most viewed picture over at Renderosity. I had discovered that you could use Photoshop and combine multiple images in layers. So I created the setting and lights, and rendered the characters one or two at a time. Then I combined the pictures in Photoshop layers, and erased parts of the layers in each to allow the other characters to show through. I then painted some magic effects in to finish it off. Even now, several years later, I'm still a bit proud of this one.
What do you think? Any comments you make would be appreciated.
Tom

Are these "heart-seeking rays"? Every beautiful lady is being struck in her heart between her beautiful bosoms.

Yes, I've been playing around with it for a while, and there's still a whole lot I don't know. It is fun to experiment, though.

I've used the combination methods before, but I found it difficult to work that way cos the way the lights/shadows interacted between characters is often mismatched.
As in this pic, I can see there's a light from the window (nice), but the rest of the chamber looks kinda 'too bright' for a night ritual. The blonde priestess's shadows on the left seemed to blend too much to the 'not so many shadows' on that side of the room. Love the effect, and I appreciate the efforts too.. I know it's a pain on these things (I do something similar)
Overall I like it and thanks for sharing

I can see why this is your most-viewed image. I like it!
So the magic effects that are flowing from the women - they were Photoshopped in afterward, and not actual 3D props?
