Description "So Jack started to climb, scrambled high off the ground,
His eyes opened wide as he looked all around!
There were beak-tweeters, buzz-bizzers, flit-flaps and more!
There were views he’d not even imagined before!
He’d once thought this place boring, but Jack had been wrong.
Was it true? Was this how it had been all along?"

After 3 months and one week, illustrations for my 2nd story book are 99.9% ready. Definitely not a wasted year! This was the most time consuming piece, haven't done so much detail in years. Totally worth it.

I know! Took me ages to finish it. It's the most detail spread in the whole book.

Impressive, especially the village. I really love the style, I haven't loved something this cartoony and back to basic in coloring in such a long time. I'm really loving the bird designs, too wacky. Excellent work.

Stop it, you making me blush.

I was growing up around comics with simple colors such as Asterix and Tintin and Marine. It doesn't matter how many colors you use and how you use them, what matters is the impact it produces.

Very true. I grew up with the same comics.

Ok, I understand "Asterix" and "Tintin", but are you also familiar with "Marine"? Marine it's an amazing series, unfortunately as far as I know it's only available in French. Few parts where published in Poland (that's when I read them), but not all.

Nope, can't say I know of Marine. But I'll have to look it up. Luckily, I am French. I read Lucky Luke, Dodu, Tartine, etc. Whatever my grandfather had available. He was very big on comics, he had a collection with comics dated from the 30's.
