“How dare you!” protested the woman. “What right has a little strumpet to threaten us?”
“An unusual occurrence. To be called a strumpet by a nobleman’s bit of baggage.” she ignored the woman from then on. “You carry a letter, sir. I will have it.”
Sir Milton hesitated.
“I can as easily retrieve it from your lifeless form.”
Sir Milton was no coward but neither was he a fool. He handed the pouch containing the letter over.
